Caseload e.g. Children - under 16 years of age. The CNS will focus initially on the following patient groups The Metabolic Clinical Nurse Specialist requires the application of specially focused knowledge and skills, which are both in demand and required to improve the quality of patient care and meet service needs. The post holder is responsible for providing specialist; evidence-based nursing care to children and their families. The Metabolic CNS has a pivotal role in co-ordination and management of activity and services within and outside the clinical area.
