Meet the team The Lab team is responsible for producing and commissioning video content that is made specifically for the 18–44-year-old audience, focusing on comedy and entertainment formats. Previous series include The Traitors Ireland: Uncloaked, Good Boy and Ireland’s Perfect Pubs.Content is created, packaged, and published to RTÉ’s video products, with a focus on RTÉ Player and RTÉ’s YouTube channels and oftentimes, RTÉ Television channels. We are looking for an experienced Content Leader with a background in comedy and/or entertainment production and expertise in delivering high quality digital content for a fixed term contract of 12 months. Reporting to the Head of RTÉ Player, the Online Content Manager will be an experienced TV/Digital content maker with a passion for Irish TV and culture and a strong background in the comedy and entertainment genres. You will lead a team of content creators and content co-ordinators in ‘The Lab’ working closely with colleagues within RTÉ to deliver high impact content for RTÉ Player/Television and YouTube. The successful candidate will work within a dynamic, fast-paced environment, collaborating with stakeholders from across the ‘Video’ teams as well as with product, technology, design, marketing, audience insights and commercial. To participate and support all Company initiatives with compliance of procedures and requirements for ISO9001, 14001 & 45001, FSC and Investors in People Standards. 19.
