Details of Service The CUH Pharmacy Department provides a comprehensive range of pharmaceutical services to patients and staff in Cork University Hospital, Cork University Maternity Hospital and to a number of outpatient clinics (e.g. Infectious Diseases, Hepatology, Psychiatric and Maternity services). · Our aim is to ensure safe, effective and economical use of medicines for our patients and to support education, training and research. · Our department consists of a dynamic and enthusiastic team of pharmacists, pharmaceutical technicians, porters, clerical and support staff. Together we aim to provide our patients with the highest quality of pharmaceutical care. The successful candidate will participate in the provision of a comprehensive pharmaceutical service by managing the dispensing, storage and rotation of pharmaceuticals within the campus, consistent with quality and value for money. These activities will be undertaken under the supervision of the Pharmacy Executive Manager, Deputy Pharmacist Executive Manager and Chief II Pharmacist. The successful candidate will also be required to support the broader technician service and may be required to undertake these general pharmaceutical technician related tasks, when required. Data Governance Manager
Reporting to the Secretary & General Manager, this key senior role holder will be the primary point of contact for all data privacy matters within the Hospital. They will be responsible for advising the hospital on all its obligations relating to data governance as it relates to national and European legislation. This postholder is pivotal to safeguarding the organisation’s information assets. While reporting directly to the Secretary & General Manager, the postholder may also provide reports to the Hospital’s CEO (Master). Responsible for monitoring the organisation’s compliance with data protection obligations. Inform and provide advice regarding Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and act as a contact point for data subjects and relevant supervisory authorities. Overall responsibility for the Data Governance Department to include staff management, Data Protection, GDPR, Freedom of Information (FOI) all privacy related queries and requests from third parties (including members of the public and regulatory authorities). Training of Hospital staff in these key areas. The successful candidate will provide leadership and strategic input into the ongoing development of the Data Governance Department within the hospital. To enable the satisfactory discharge of this critical role, the Data Governance Manager will be involved in all issues which relate to the protection of personal data within the hospital. In particular, they will seek to establish a network of trained Data Champions across the hospital. Have overall responsibility for management of all Parliamentary Questions (PQs) and Representation (Reps) on behalf of the hospital to include seeking validation of data, liaising with relevant departments, and replying in line with the relevant legislation on behalf of the hospital.

Quality Document Administrator
OVERALL ROLE OBJECTIVE To work as part of a Quality Document administration team responsible for compilation, issuance and review of GMP documentation. The post holder will assist in the maintenance of the Almac Pharma Services Quality system and will participate in investigations and trending of quality performance indicators as appropriate. JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES The post holder will: Generate GMP documentation (Master Manufacturing and Packaging Specifications, SOP’s, specifications, validation documentation etc) in the approved formats. Issue batch records in accordance with the Production schedule as outlined in Almac Pharma Services internal procedures. Issue and retrieve GMP documentation to and from departments as assigned. Circulate quality system related documentation (change requests, deviations, CAPA, suspect analytical results, complaints etc.) to all relevant departments. Manage and distribute controlled documents, maintaining current effective versions in hard copy and electronically. Ensure that all designated Document Control storage and archive areas are tidy, presentable, and organised in a logical way. Archive, retrieve and track GMP associated documentation. Collate and review data for Quality Assurance reports and investigations. Maintain all quality system indexes and electronic tracking systems such as WOLF. This role requires coverage beyond normal working hours on a regular basis and it is a condition of your employment that you are able to fulfil this requirement of the role. Clinical Nurse Manager, Bank Unit
The Nursing Bank Unit Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) 3 manages the fluctuating additional nursing staffing needs of the Mater hospital. The CNM 3 will be part of the Clinical Nurse Management team. The post holder will directly manage the day to day operational management and professional responsibility of the Nursing Bank Unit (NBU). This will include professional responsibility of the Nursing Bank Team (NBT), Safe Staffing Facilitator, and Clinical Support Co-Ordinator; recruitment, professional development, performance and retention; as well as Hours as Required (HAR) staff.
