Clinic Area Manager
Clinic Area Manager – Leeds – (Job Ref: 26/CMLD) Randox Health continues to be at the forefront of clinical diagnostics, dedicated to improving health worldwide with our disruptive technology and innovative diagnostic solutions. We have an exciting new career opportunity for a Clinic Area Manager to manage our clinics within the area from York to Nottingham. Location : Based in our Leeds clinic - Unit 10-12 Cross Arcade, Victoria Quarter, 44 Victoria Gate George Street, Leeds LS2 7AU. However, the successful candidate will also be responsible for our clinics in Derby, Hull, Nottingham, Leeds, Sheffield and York. There are also likely to be more sites in the future and regular travel will be required throughout the region. Contract Offered : Full-time, Permanent. Working Hours / Shifts : 8.40am to 5.20pm, Monday to Friday. Flexibility will be required, including some weekend work. For this position, as you may be in contact with live blood samples, you must be vaccinated against Hepatitis B or be able to get it following a successful interview stage. In line with Care Quality Commission guidelines, the successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check. What does the Clinic Area Manager role involve? This role is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day operations of several Randox Health clinics within the region. This is a varied role that may also include the following responsibilities: • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations to include International Standardisation Organisation and Care Quality Commission for clinics. • Ensure that all staff adhere to the Quality Management System. • Manage clinical staff, across a number of clinics within the region along with maintaining relations with GPs, specialists, doctors and couriers. • The development and appraisal of staff. • Develop and implement policies and procedures. • Manage clinic expenditure. • Ensure sufficient overall management of the clinic with regards to supplies, equipment, fixtures, and fittings. • Ability to cover reception duties. • Ensure clinic and all staff provide a high level of customer service and care to all clients. • Ensure effective teamwork and communication with staff throughout the business. • Ensure that staff maintain confidentiality and appropriate storage of confidential information. • Ensure full knowledge of software procedures and clinic roles. • Assist with recruitment as required. • Rota optimisation and management in order to meet client requirements and financial revenue. • Regular travel within our clinic network. He/she will work closely with members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure that services are delivered in an integrated manner. In addition, the Home Support Resource Manager will support the delivery, co-ordination and development of the Home Support Service. The recipients of care are primarily older persons but we may provide care to others also. The current service is Monday to Friday but will be rolling out into a 7-day service. Mangers will be required to take part in a roster to support the service. The HSRM will be conducting home visits to discuss the approved care with the service user/family and carry out an environmental check and confirm the care plan.
