Our Biochip team manufacture products for use across our Biochip Array Technology Analysers including Evidence, Investigator, MultiStat and Evolution. Our cutting-edge technology is used in Laboratories and Hospitals to diagnose health tests as wells as veterinary samples, and food testing. Location : 44 Largy Road, Crumlin, BT29 4RN. Contract Offered : Full-time, permanent. Some temporary roles are also available. Working Hours / Shifts : Hours can vary depending on what team you work in. Standard hours are 7am to 5.40pm, 4 days per week. However, night shifts may also be required. What does the Production Operator role involve? The role of Production Operator will be working on the production of the Randox Biochip Array products. Key duties: • Calibration and maintenance of equipment • The operation and troubleshooting of automated production lines involved in the assembly of instrument specific Biochip Array products. • The accurate completion of manufacturing and stock records. • Completion and recording of manufacturing outputs for KPIs • The cleaning down of machines and the work area in accordance with standard operating procedures. • Monitoring of the cleanroom environment to process defined specifications • Assisting in the training of staff in departmental procedures and systems. • The alerting of the Biochip formulation Team Leader and Manager to any problems in the manufacture or testing of Biochip products and highlighting any non-conformances • Accurate identification and removal of rejected biochips during assembly process • High quality sealing and accurate labelling of Biochip Array products Who can apply? Essential criteria: • Be qualified to GCSE level or have previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment. • Be physically able to work on your feet all day. • Have the right to work in the UK. Desirable: • Computer literate and confidence in the use and application of Microsoft Office packages. • Working knowledge of Health and Safety procedures, including CoSHH. • Experience in manufacturing environment. • Flexibility to work different shift patterns. • Hold a full driving licence, as the site is quite remote. Title of Post: Radiation Therapist, Clinical Specialist, Cork University Hospital Details of Service: Cork University Hospital (CUH) is the largest university teaching hospital in Ireland with over 40 different medical and surgical specialties on the campus housing 1000 in-patient beds. CUH is the tertiary referral centre for the HSE Southern area, and the supra-regional area of Limerick, Clare, Tipperary, Waterford and Kilkenny. CUH therefore acts as a regional centre for secondary and tertiary care for the catchment population of 550,000 served by the HSE Southern area and a supra-regional centre for a total population of 1.1 million. A new state of the art Radiation Oncology facility is now open and houses cutting edge technology including 5 Elekta Versa HD Linear Accelerators capable of SABR/SRS along with Surface-guided radiotherapy on all Linac’s. The department also has 2 GE CT simulators and a brachytherapy suite.
