One wing provides safe and supportive accommodation for nine residents with dementia, providing a researched approach to dementia design with a homely feel to make residents more comfortable, independent and reduce confusion Your new role You'll support the management team with daily operations, managing and mentoring staff, and the provision of individual care to residents. You will ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and act as a liaison between staff, residents, and families, addressing concerns and facilitating effective communication.You'll be responsible for ensuring high quality care is being delivered whilst monitoring resource allocation, schedules, and upholding the care home's standards and policies. The postholder will be a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT) in the Armagh Observatory and Planetarium (AOP) and will share corporate responsibility with the Director for providing strategic direction and corporate leadership for the organisation in support of its vision, mission and values. They will have a key role to play in the preparation and delivery of short and longer-term plans to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of AOP’s vibrant programmes in science and education. This will include acting as the Senior Responsible Owner for the Project Board for a major infrastructure Redevelopment Project. They will work closely with the AOP Board, the AOP Management Committee and its subcommittees, and with colleagues to maintain high standards of governance and accountability, ensuring effective stewardship of resources. We have an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Part-Time Dental Nurse to be part of our family run group of Practices and to join our team in Lurgan, on a temporary basis to cover a period of maternity. The successful applicant will work 16 hours per week from 8:30-5:30pm on Tuesdays and Thurdays. Location : Randox Health, 8-10 Clumber Street, Nottingham, NG1 3GA. Contract Offered : Full-time, permanent Working Hours / Shifts : 8.40am to 5.20pm, alternating weekly between a Monday to Friday and Tuesday to Saturday shift pattern. For this position, as you may be in contact with live blood samples, you must be vaccinated against Hepatitis B or be able to get it following a successful interview stage. In line with Care Quality Commission guidelines, the successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check. This role is responsible for ensuring customers have an excellent experience from the moment they enter our clinic, taking blood samples from both private and corporate clients. This is a varied role that may also include the following responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive client appointments, including blood and urine sample collection, personal health measurements, and data entry into our Patient Information Systems (PIS). • Demonstrate sensitive communication to ensure client understanding and consent. • Maintain accurate records in PIS, uploading all relevant documentation. • Represent the company professionally at offsite events and appointments. • Engage in upselling and cross-selling at our private health clinic. • Proactively drive sales and exceed targets. • Complete company forms, specimen labelling, and laboratory test order forms accurately. • Demonstrate high IT literacy in order to manager various software systems and daily tasks. Essential criteria: • Previous Phlebotomy experience and certificate or equivalent training. • Confident using IT programmes. • Flexibility with working hours, as required by the business inclusive of evenings and weekends. • Flexibility to work from offsite locations at least once per month. • Currently have the right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship Desirable: • Experience in a private healthcare setting. • Exeperience in customer service. • 2 years experience in Phlebotomy. • Sales / Retail experience. • Valid UK driving licence
