Position Purpose and Primary Accountabilities Supporting the day-to-day operations of the EHS Department by: Proactively championing EHS, and safe working practices across the company’s activities and operations. Working collaboratively and cross functionally with the various Departments by providing EHS updates, support and advice to colleagues. Assisting with reporting, investigating and recording of accident, incident, near-miss and good catch data promptly, ensuring corrective actions are identified and tracked to implementation. Conducting safety inspections and risk assessments as required, ensuring appropriate action plans in place Supporting the EHS training programme by delivering safety induction and other EHS training for new and existing employees and maintaining training records. Supporting the tracking and reporting of EHS KPI’s/ metrics. Updating and maintaining EHS documentation. Partnering with Departments to accomplish site EHS objectives. Actively participating in site EHS committee meetings. Providing general support and assistance to the EHS Manager. Qualifications/Requirements Essential Criteria Undertaking a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Health and safety or related field. Good communication & analytical skills. Team Player. Excellent people skills. Good organisational and problem-solving skills. Self-starter, self-sufficient and eager to learn. Strong IT Skills in Word & Excel.
