Candidates should: • Have previous experience working in a busy Pharmacy and have undertaken NVQ qualifications or be willing to work towards achieving these qualifications. • Have experience working within a Pharmacy Technician role. • Be able to work on their own initiative as well as work as a critical member of the team. • Be hard working and enthusiastic. • Demonstrate excellent organisation, communication and attention to detail skills. • Be flexible to work between 9-6 Monday to Friday and 1 in 4 Saturdays (9-1) • Be educated to GCSE standard (or equivalent) with Maths at grade C or above. Duties will include: • Working under the supervision of the Pharmacist you will supply medicines to patients (either on prescription or over the counter) • Provide information to patients and other healthcare professionals • Manage dispensary with the Pharmacist • Undertaking stock rotation and management of stock – reordering stock as and when required. • Adhering to safe work practices in accordance with Company process and legislation. • Providing excellent customer service. • Carrying out duties as directed and supervised by the Pharmacist. Previous experience working in a pharmacy related environment is essential.
