The role of a Production Technician is to provide technical expertise within work centres ranging from manufacturing, primary and secondary packaging. The principal function of the role is to ensure the efficient and effective running of technical operations, in accordance with associated protocols & batch documentation whilst maintaining schedule adherence. The Production Technician must also ensure operational compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS), and adherence to Health and Safety policies. Apprentice Brickwork Technician
Full-time Temporary (36 hours per week) 3-year Apprenticeship Programme. Successful completion of the programme may lead to appointment to a permanent Technician post at Band 3 within Belfast Metropolitan College. To provide specialist technical services to support teaching within the Construction Department. Purpose of the Role The role of the Orthopaedic Casting Technician, Childrens Orthopaedics is to support the Nursing Staff in the delivery of patient care under the supervision of the Clinical Nurse Manager / Specialist and Staff Nurses. The post holders’ primary role is to assist with plaster care and the associated duties of orthopaedic patients in the plaster room, theatre and wards and associated duties directly related to plaster care. Investigating, diagnosing and solving software and hardware issues. 8. Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals. 9. Ensure the organisation’s hardware and software is adequately maintained 10. Repairing equipment and replacing parts 11. Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners. 12. Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrades 13. Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures. 14. Setting up accounts for staff, ensuring appropriate access rights are assigned to both systems, facilities and security systems. 15. Ensure users receive introductory system training while promoting best practice. 16. Assign and manage Office 365 user software licences 17. Ensure mobile communication sims and smartphones are managed, maintained and comply with security policies. 18. Maintain phone system, voicemail and cordless handsets. 19. Managing stocks of equipment, consumables and other supplies. 21. Create and maintain ODBC Reports. 22. Ensure the reliable transmission of EDI. 23.
