Treatment Coordinator, Oral Surgery
This role of the Treatment Coordinator (TCO) is to ensure the Patient has a smooth and positive experience when visiting the Practice from when they enter, throughout treatment and aftercare. TCOs manage appointments, support with coordinating treatment plans, answer patient questions and support with related administration. We have an opportunity for a TCO to work in our Curran Oral Surgery Practice, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 9.00am to 5.00pm. Key responsibilities include:
Dental Nurse
We have an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Part-Time Dental Nurse to be part of our family run group of Practices and to join our team in 372 Cregagh Road, Belfast on a temporary basis. The successful applicant will work 24 hours per week from 8:30-5:30pm Tuesday to Thursday. As this is a Denplan practice, an enhanced hourly rate will be offered. Duties will include assisting the dentist, sterilising dental equipment, keeping the surgery clean and occasional reception duties. Promoting high standards of patient care at all times is vital. This role is responsible for the conducting of routine clinical diagnostic testing for technical projects. Some of the key duties include: • Routine use of the RCLS Laboratory Information Management System (LIMs). • The performance of various analytical procedures including various manual screening and automated methods covering a wide variety of clinical diagnostic tests. • The preparation and handling of samples and diagnostic reagents and operation of various automated analytical systems. • The accurate maintenance of analytical records, preparation of validation plans, review of analytical data and report writing to gather, evaluate and conclude a result. • The routine maintenance and calibration of analytical instrumentation. • Perform troubleshooting on technical issues. • Review and planning of validation for proposed processes- new, developed or existing related to clinical diagnostic testing. • Assist with the training of staff. • Working to timelines / deadlines as guided by the Technical Manager or Technical Team Leader. • The detailed writing of reports demonstrating rigorous analysis of results. • Preparation and presentation of R&D Design Reviews to Senior Management. • The meeting of targets on established validation projects. • The familiarisation and keeping up to date with current methods and technologies for a given project. Essential criteria: • Qualified to at least bachelors level in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Immunology or a Life Science subject. • HCPC Biomedical Scientist registration • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. • Experience in validation procedures and relevant project management skills. • Experience in analysis and documentation of large data sets. • Experience in the operation of clinical chemistry, immunoassay or haematology instrumentation. Desirable: • Experience in training staff members. • Experience in the use of project management software.
