We’re looking for a Commercial Bid Executive to join the Wrightbus Sales team in Ballymena to generate leads, quotations, and proposals for top transport industry clients. The Role: Manage proposal opportunities across all stages with accuracy and timeliness. Create client proposal packs, including quotation letters, presentations, and tender documents, correctly interpreting customer requests and addressing issues directly (verbally or in writing). Use online tender portals to collate and upload grammatically and commercially accurate information (training provided). Estimate vehicle manufacturing costs based on customer specifications, engaging suppliers for pricing if required. Interpret contractual requirements and compile reports detailing commercial elements. Draft deal sheets for senior executive approval. Maintain accurate records of historical pricing to finalize and justify customer prices. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet deadlines. Communicate with customers on various matters, both verbally and in writing. Work with Commercial and Sales Directors to capture customer needs for bid proposals. Collect and organize tender information for the bid library. Maintain tender and quotation files in internal systems. Assist in drafting business reports as needed. The Requirements: A Minimum of an HND/NVQ L5 in business related subject or equivalent OR 3 years’ experience in a similar role. Experience of bid writing and quotation preparation. Understanding of bid processes and practices. Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
