POSITION SUMMARY: The role of the Youth and Community Engagement Worker cuts across several aspects of Jigsaw’s work at local Service level including youth voice and engagement and youth mental health promotion in community and education settings. The role involves delivering a range of youth mental health promotion activities for young people, parents/guardians and those who work and volunteer with young people in settings where they live, learn, work and play. It also focuses on supporting Jigsaw’s youth advocates to participate and have their voice heard in the local Jigsaw Service and to influence decision-making across the organisation. Assistant Director Of Nursing, Older Persons Services
Candidates must have at the latest date of application: - 1. Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc (see Note 1*). (a) Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition: (i) Are registered, or are eligible for registration, in the General Nurse Division of the Register of Nurses and Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland [NMBI] (Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann). AND (ii) Have 7 years post registration nursing experience consisting of at least three years’ experience nursing older people in the last six years and 3 years nursing management experience AND (iii) Are educated to Level 8 on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) maintained by Quality & Qualifications of Ireland (QQI) in nursing or related field. AND (iv) A post registration management qualification in health or a related field. AND (b) Applicants must possess the requisite clinical, leadership, managerial and administrative knowledge and ability for the proper discharge of the duties of the office . 2. Staff Nurse General, Theatre
The Theatre Service is available 24/7 for elective and emergency surgeries. It caters for General, Colorectal, Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Endoscopy, Cardiology and Bronchoscopy patients. This list is not finite and is regularly reviewed by the Senior Hospital Management Team in response to service needs. Theatre Nurse rotate between the following areas: Anaesthetics, Scrub, Circulating, Recovery an Endoscopy. There are no dedicated posts in an of these areas. This is to ensure all areas can be covered safely by the on-call-team. All staff nurse participates in the on-call roster in addition to their contracted hours. Payment for On-call duties as per the Health Sector Consolidated Salary Scales. Time off in lieu of sleep time is granted as per the European Working Time Directives.
