Clinical Midwife Manager, Maternity Services, University Hospital
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, University Hospital Kerry, provides comprehensive services for antenatal, intra natal, post natal mothers and their babies and also for women who require gynaecological procedures. The Department is closely integrated with the Regional Tertiary referral centre at Cork University Maternity Hospital in respect of clinical standards and governance. The Birth rate in 2021 was just under 1,300 deliveries. Midwifery Staff/Managers allocated to the area rotate between ante-natal/labour and delivery and post natal areas to ensure continuing care and midwife competence. Purpose of the Post The post of Clinical Midwife Manager 2 has a pivotal role in service planning, co-ordinating, and managing activity and resources within the clinical area on a day to day basis. The main responsibilities are: leading on the delivery of woman focused care, quality assurance, resource management, staffing and staff development, practice development, facilitating communication and professional / clinical leadership. Facilities Supervisor
OVERALL ROLE OBJECTIVE: The post holder will be responsible for leading a team of skilled craft workers to deliver building maintenance, implement maintenance contracts and general repair requests. They will be responsible for daily maintenance requests and for providing support to Facilities projects. The role will involve liaising with internal Almac staff and the coordination of external construction contractors. JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: The post holder will: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Facilities Maintenance Team. Manage and supervise external contractors. Manage daily workloads of the Facilities Maintenance Team through the Engineering Service Desk. Line management responsibility for the Facilities Maintenance Team. Set performance targets and continually monitor progress. Liaise with Line Manager on a regular basis regarding progress, issues or circumstances which alter agreed time scales and work schedules. Ensure that the Facilities Department operates within the constraints of all current health, safety and environmental legislation. Coordinate and manage Facilities Maintenance Service Providers used on the Craigavon. QUALIFICATIONS HND or Degree in Engineering or construction related discipline EXPERIENCE Previous experience in a supervisory role. Previous experience managing contractors Previous experience of people management. Proven ability to lead and motivate a team. Computer literate and working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Working knowledge of AutoCAD. KEY SKILLS Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Excellent understanding of customer service. Ability to organise, plan and prioritise work tasks.

Senior Dietitian, Low Back Pain
This role has been created as a component of delivery of the integrated Low Back Pain Pathway. The integrated Low Back Pain (LBP) pathway is one of a number of modernised care pathways developed by the HSE. This pathway aims to identify patients who present with low back pain that need relevant and timely interventions in the most appropriate setting i.e. nearest to home. The pathway enables GPs to utilise a specialty specific referral form, and a stratified care approach, thus placing patients on the correct treatment pathway, depending on their specific needs and clinical presentation. The pathway, developed collaboratively by the NCP Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery and the NCP for Rheumatology, will deliver a standardised approach to the management of patients presenting with low back pain.
