Essential Criteria: Candidates must, on the latest date for receiving completed application forms for the post, possess: a) Bachelor in Science (Applied Science) Honours degree (Biomedical option) from the Technological University of Dublin / Dublin Institute of Technology, Kevin Street; or b) Bachelor in Science Honours degree in Biomedical Science from the Joint University College Cork - Cork Institute of Technology course; or c) Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences of the Dublin Institute of Technology, Kevin Street or the Cork Institute of Technology awarded prior to 1994; or d) Possess Certificate in Medical Laboratory Sciences of the Dublin Institute of Technology, Kevin Street or Cork Institute of Technology or the Galway/Mayo Institute of Technology (awarded prior to 1997) or e) Bachelor in Science degree with Honours for Biomedical science (which is recognized as a Health & Care Professions Council, UK (HCPC) approved) or f) A recognised qualification at least equivalent to (A) - (E) above; And Be registered with CORU or be eligible for registration Or Be currently registered with HCPC as a Biomedical Scientist How to Apply and Informal Enquiries: Applications for this post must be accompanied by a cover letter, setting out relevant experience that illustrates how the essential criteria listed above is met.
