Purpose of the Role The purpose of this post is to oversee the training and compliance management of the Household department at CHI Crumlin. To ensure the safety and wellbeing of patients and staff through the provision of a clean environment and the prevention of cross infection in line with National and International best practice. The Household Assistant Manager will be required to oversee the smooth running of the training requirements within the household department while also ensuring compliance within the service, in line with HIQA and any other relevant regulatory requirements. This position will deputise for the Household Manager as required. The Household Assistant Manager will also oversee rostering, payroll, auditing, stock management and documentation & practices in line with HIQA compliance any other relevant regulatory requirements. MGH also provides elective Day surgery, Endoscopy, Injuries Unit, Outpatients Department, Physiotherapy and Radiology including CT scanning services and ultra sound scan. MGH Housekeeping Department provides a cleaning service on Wards, Medical Assessment Unit, Out Patients Department, Physiotherapy Department and Auxiliary Areas.
