Phlebotomist
Phlebotomist – Liverpool – (Job Ref: 25/LVRP) Randox Health continues to be at the forefront of clinical diagnostics, dedicated to improving health worldwide with our disruptive technology and innovative diagnostic solutions. Our staff are at the heart of everything we do and achieve. We have an exciting new career opportunity for a Phlebotomist within our clinic in Liverpool. Location : Randox Health, Ground Floor Unit, Exchange Station, Tithebarn Street, Liverpool, L2 2QP. Contract Offered : Full-time, permanent Working Hours / Shifts : 40 hours per week contract, alternating between Monday to Friday and Tuesday to Saturday. Exact hours are 7.40am to 4.20pm, Monday and Saturday and 6.40am to 3.20pm Tuesday & Friday and 10.20am to 7pm on Wednesday and Thursday. Hours are subject to change. For this position, as you may be in contact with live blood samples, you must be vaccinated against Hepatitis B or be able to get it following a successful interview stage. In line with Care Quality Commission guidelines, the successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check. Right to Work Requirement Please note that this role requires candidates to have the legal right to work in the UK for a minimum of 12 months from the application date. This is to ensure completion of our 9-month probationary period and for any potential sponsorship decisions to be considered. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship at the point of hire. What does the Phlebotomist role involve? This role is responsible for ensuring customers have an excellent experience from the moment they enter our clinic, taking blood samples from both private and corporate clients. This is a varied role that may also include the following responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive client appointments, including blood and urine sample collection, personal health measurements, and data entry into our Patient Information Systems (PIS). • Demonstrate sensitive communication to ensure client understanding and consent. • Maintain accurate records in PIS, uploading all relevant documentation. • Represent the company professionally at offsite events and appointments. • Engage in upselling and cross-selling at our private health clinic. • Proactively drive sales and exceed targets. • Complete company forms, specimen labelling, and laboratory test order forms accurately. • Demonstrate high IT literacy in order to manager various software systems and daily tasks. Essential criteria: • Previous Phlebotomy experience and certificate or equivalent training. • Confident using IT programmes. • Flexibility with working hours, as required by the business inclusive of evenings and weekends. • Flexibility to work from offsite locations at least once per month. • Currently have the right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship Desirable: • Experience in a private healthcare setting. • Exeperience in customer service. • 2 years experience in Phlebotomy. • Sales / Retail experience. • Valid UK driving licence

Support the Warehouse Management team and assist the Distribution team on vehicle standards, rubbish and product security. Assist with the receipt, storage, and dispatch of products. Assist with all aspects of stock, ensuring accurate stock movement. Responsible for maintaining consistently high standards throughout Duncrue complex including standards in warehouses, maintaining plants, locks, reporting issues, de-icing etc. Maintain standards of health and safety and security in the work environment. Report any faults, near misses and hazards. The main duties of the role are: • Make multiple trips daily between our London clinic, laboratories, and local partnerships. • Collect express samples for 4-hour testing from our local partnerships. • Conduct a sample count on each trip and complete required documentation when transporting samples. • Collect stock orders and deliver them to the correct site. • Maintain the company vehicles to the required standard. Reporting any damage, wear & tear, etc. • Complete a daily vehicle checklist at the start of each day. • Record vehicle mileage in the provided logbook. • Ensure vehicles are filled with the correct fuel. • Adhere to all speed limits, road laws, and parking restrictions. Essential criteria: • CBT Licence, or category A (motorcycle) licence. • Courier experience in West and Central London. • Strong knowledge of local roads. • Good communication skills. • Flexibility in your availability. • Currently have the right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
