Carer Responder NorthSide Dublin Job Overview: Our care responders play a vital role in providing a high-quality service to our clients in the North Side of Dublin and giving additional support to our healthcare assistants. Our care responder would be working as an ‘on-call healthcare assistant'. 5 days a week, they would be working between set hours to cover shifts and help out the team in whatever way they can. We look after a wide range of adults in the community with long-term disabilities requiring complex care, including personal and social care of the older person. The core responsibilities of this role will be to: · Cover unscheduled staff absences to ensure that clients receive their care. · Once a month, be part of the weekend on-call rota as and when required. · Carry out care for the client as per their care plan. · Assist with emergency issues to ensure clients' care is met. · Drive from client to client in the south Dublin area. · Introducing and shadowing new staff. · Document any care given and any issues of concern and report as appropriate and as per company policy. · Supporting the supervisors with their role. · Adhere to Health & Safety regulations · Participate in our monthly on call rota · Assist with health care assistance duties as required. Physiotherapist, Senior, University Maternity Hospital
Details of Service Cork University Hospital (CUH) is the largest single multi-speciality hospital in Ireland. It is the only Level 1 Trauma Hospital in Ireland. Regional specialities include neurosurgery, plastics and burns, cystic fibrosis and cardiac surgery. It is the centre in Cork City and county for trauma orthopaedics. The Physiotherapy Department provides physiotherapy care within Cork University Hospital, St. Finbarr’s Hospital Rehabilitation Unit and Cork University Maternity Hospital. The service also provides weekend and on-call services respiratory and orthopaedic services under specific criteria. The postholder will be required to participate in this. Flexibility will be required with regard to the working week as the post holder may be required to give classes/cover clinics in the evening and at weekends. Cork University Maternity (CUMH) Hospital opened in 2007 and involved the amalgamation of maternity services from Erinville Hospital, St. Finbarr’s Maternity Hospital, Bon Secours Maternity Unit and gynaecology services from Cork University Hospital. The CUMH physiotherapy service provides an in- and outpatient service to the specialties of obstetrics, gynaecology and neonataology in CUMH as well as Colorectal and Urology in CUH. Currently working in the service, there is a Deputy Manager, Clinical Specialists for Mesh complications, Clinical Specialist for Postnatal Hub, Seniors Physiotherapists and Staff Grades. This post is primarily to support the provision of service to patients with pelvic floor dysfunction. Occupational Therapist, Senior, Practice Tutor
There is currently one permanent 0.6 wte post available within Primary Care, Cork. The post is based in Block 34 St Finbarr’s Hospital, Douglas Rd, Cork. The post holder will be required as part of this role to travel to different parts of Cork North and East, and Cork South and West. A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Occupational Therapist, Senior, Practice Tutor from which current and future whole-time permanent vacancies within Primary Care, Cork, of full or part-time duration may be filled.
