This service provides an opportunity for the main carers to get a break from caring duties and enables them to refresh and to be able to continue their caring role. As part of the caring team, you will help create and maintain a caring and safe environment where the personal care and social needs of the residents are fulfilled. The Team Leader will support the Registered Manager to develop and implement personalised care plans and individual risk assessments to meet individual needs. The role requires participation in the delivery of person-centred care, including personal care and promotion of a team approach at all times with positive and constructive working relationships for the benefit of the service user. Team leaders will also support with the management of budgets and resources effectively. The Team Leader will mentor and supervise the team of care assistants. Team leaders must be available to work flexibly and be available to work unsociable hours and public holidays on a rotational basis. We are currently seeking a motivated and efficient Admin Officer to join our Admin Team on a temporary basis. In this role you will work closely with the Admin & Finance team to manage a high-volume purchase ledger, ensure all financial records are up to date and maintained to the highest standards. Responsibilities (list not exhaustive): Answering telephone promptly, directing calls to the appropriate personnel and responding and directing emails as necessary in a professional manner. Supplier invoice coding to nominal ledger. Complete Month end Credit Card reconciliation. Raise Purchase Orders (PO’s) for other departments as required. RHI Submission. Sage Payroll Monthly and Weekly Sales invoicing / Lodgements – providing holiday cover. Cover for other members of the admin team including reception cover for holidays, periods of sickness and other absence when required. Any other duties, within reason and capability, as agreed through consultation with management. Essential Criteria: Proven experience in an administrative position, particularly within finance or office management environment. Ability to manage a high-volume purchase ledger, including processing invoices, reconciling accounts and maintaining accurate records. High level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially when dealing with financial data and documents. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in using Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Word) and experience with financial software or accounting systems. Desirable Criteria: Previous experience in a similar industry or sector. Familiarity with accounting software. Surgical Registrar, Supplementary Panel
The HSE Dublin and Midlands serves a population of circa 1,077,639 providing health and social care services to communities living within Dublin West, Dublin South-West, Dublin South City, Laois, Longford, Offaly, Kildare, West Wicklow and Westmeath. Currently, approximately 30k staff work within the HSE Dublin and Midlands Region providing key health and social care services with a budget of €3 billion. The region has 4 Integrated Health Areas, serving a population of around 300,000 and take account of local geographies, population size, needs and services. The IHA areas are HSE Dublin South City and West, HSE Dublin South West, HSE Kildare and West Wicklow and HSE Midlands and the Integrated Healthcare Managers are in post since October 2024. IHAs bring together both acute and community services as well as other non-HSE providers and are crucial to supporting and enabling integrated care. Within the 4 Integrated Health Areas there are 9 acute hospital (model 4s and 3s, mix of statutory and voluntary providers) delivering a full range of acute hospital, women and children’s services, in addition to specialised radiation and oncology care. There are also 6 integrated care hubs/csts and 20 Community Health Networks who together will serve the population health needs of our area. The reform programme for HSE Dublin and Midlands provides an opportunity to shape the future of health and social care in a rapidly changing environment and to continue to implement safer better health care through integrated services.
