Building a sustainable tomorrow We are recruiting for an M&E Coordinator to join our building team in Dublin. Your mission • Review M&E design information and undertake a full design gap analysis in conjunction with the project team. • Monitor and co-ordinate the flow of M&E design information to ensure the timely release of information for construction activities. • Manage the submission and approval process of all M&E technical equipment as required. • Manage the submission and approval process of all M&E design information (drawings) as required. • Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, client and company requirements and assist with the preparation of the submission required for the BCAR uploads. • Ensure M&E designs and details produced are economic and do not exceed budgeted or tendered cost and comply with our contract deliverables. • Ensure that specialist mechanical and electrical & sprinkler sub-contractors work strictly within company Safety Management System and comply fully with all its requirements. • Ensure that specialist mechanical and electrical & Sprinkler sub-contractors provide in a timely manner all quality and statutory requirements. • Manage and maintain accurate minutes of subcontractor meetings. • Assist project quantity surveys with review and preparation of subcontractor monthly and final accounts. BAM Building is recruiting for Electricians to join a commercial project based in Cork City. Your mission Carry out electrical installation work from bracketry, containment, wiring to second fixing and snagging. Responsible for completing own works, while also collaborating with a wider electrical team. Ensure all works are carried out to the highest standard, while adhering to health and safety requirements. Who are we looking for? • FETAC Level 6 Electrical Craft Certificate or equivalent. • Experience in Domestic / Commercial / Industrial projects is desirable. • Safe Pass and Manual Handling. • Qualified QC Tester would be an advantage. • Working at heights and abrasive wheel training would be an advantage. • Knowledge of current electrical standards. • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. • Successful experience as an Electrician working with multiple projects and with a minimum of 1 years in this or a similar type role. • Be able to work as a part of a team in a fast-paced work environment and willing to help and assist those around you. • Self-motivated with high quality standards. • A good knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety standards. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. CHARACTER: Each applicant must be of good character EDUCATION: Each candidate must have obtained a good standard in general education. AGE: Each applicant must not be less than 18 years on the closing date for receipt of application forms. Candidates should not be more than 55 years of age on the latest date for receipt of applications. HEALTH: Each applicant must be free from any defect or disease which would render him / her unsuitable to hold the post and must be physically fit. Before being accepted, he / she will be required to pass a medical examination and any further medical examinations required during his / her employment with the Fire Service. LOCATION: Candidates must reside and work a maximum of 5 minutes of the fire station in which they would like to be stationed. DUTIES: 1. He / She shall be available and capable at all times when required for attendance at fires or other type incidents. 2. He / She shall operate any duty rostering or availability scheme required by the Local Authority where rostering is in place. 3. Response time to Fire Calls shall generally be 5 after the call is received. 4. He / She will carry one of the Fire Brigade Pocket Alerters at all times and will be responsible to see that it is kept in proper working order at all times. 5. He / She must reside and work sufficiently close to the Fire Station, to enable him / her to respond promptly to all calls. If at any time his / her availability is affected by change of work or any other reason, he / she will be required to resign. 6. He / She will be responsible for items of personal equipment issued to him / her in connection with his / her employment. 7. He / She will carry out all instructions issued to him / her in connection with his / her employment. 8. He / She will attend weekly training sessions at the local fire Station, or any other training or courses, as required by the Fire Authority during their employment with the Fire Service. 9. When required, he / she will assist or carry out the cleaning, testing or repair of equipment. 10. He / She shall carry out further duties that may be assigned to him / her from time to time by the Local Authority. 11. He / She will inform his / her employer that he / she is applying for the post. 12. Each member of the Fire Brigade will be required to undergo regular medical examinations, as required by the Fire Authority. The medical examination will be carried out by a Doctor nominated by the Fire Authority, who will responsible for the payment of their fee. 13. JOB DESCRIPTION PRIMARY OBJECTIVES / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES PUBLICITY SUPPORT • Media Trip Coordination: Design and manage logistics for media trip itineraries. • Itinerary Booking: Arrange itineraries via email, telephone, etc. • Expenditure tracking: Assist with the tracking of expenditure, including audit backups, securing best rates, raising purchase orders, and completing expenditure sheets. • Financial Reconciliation: Complete monthly credit card and budget reconciliation, and report on costs and results. • Supplier Management: Source suppliers as needed, set up new vendors and maintain relationships with existing suppliers. ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT • Reporting: Assist in drafting quarterly reports on publicity activities for leadership and programme teams as required. • CRM and Database Updates: Ensure timely upload of relevant information to Fáilte Ireland’s CRM system and maintain a database of hosted media. • Meeting Logistics: Provide logistics support for meetings. Record, produce, and distribute minutes of meetings, follow up on actions, and record outcomes.
