The Position Meath Partnership is seeking applications for the position of Rural Development Manager. This is a full-time, senior management position within the Company. The Rural Development Manager will be central to the effective operation of the Rural Development Project Team, will drive the delivery of the LEADER Programme and other rural development initiatives for County Meath, and will design and direct the animation and promotional aspects of our rural development programmes targeting potential beneficiaries and grant applicants across County Meath. We are seeking an ambitious and driven professional who will embrace and make the most of the excellent opportunities that exist within Meath Partnership to deliver dynamic and impactful rural development projects in County Meath. The overall aim of our rural development strategy is to invest in Meath to ensure it fulfils its social and economic potential, is a preferred location for living and doing business, and provides its citizens and communities with the highest standards of living and quality of life. The successful candidate will be joining a busy, challenging and rewarding work environment. The contract is for a four-year period; with the probability of an extension pending the availability of funding. The position is subject to a six-month performance appraisal.
