Kirk House is “Housing with Care” facility in which independence, freedom of choice, self-esteem and dignity are respected and promoted. Residents are supported to maintain links with their family and local community; and the level of care each receives is tailored to meet their individual needs. Kirk House is situated in landscaped grounds, it comprises of 42 individual flatlets, four of which are designed for couples and two for disabled residents. On wing provides safe and supportive accommodation for nine residents with dementia, providing a pioneering approach to dementia design with a homely feel to make residents more comfortable, independent and reduce confusion. It encompasses everything needed to create a genuine home from home where residents can enjoy a fulfilling life. Copelands comprises of six households, each with 10 residents. Each household has its own front door, kitchen and living area as well as access to a communal outdoor area. The home has been designed with the differing cognitive, social, and physical abilities of the residents in mind. Graphic Designer
The Graphic Designer will be responsible for providing a high quality, innovative and creative in-house design service. The role holder will provide knowledge and expertise to develop creative solutions for marketing and communication initiatives that will be implemented across a range of media and reflect service brand guidelines. The Graphic Designer will also contribute to the Communications and Engagement Strategy in relation to critical incidents and will work in support of Gold Command.
Community Engagement Officer
Background Smart Rural Innovation Driven Empowerment (STRIDE) South West College, alongside a consortium of key partners, has been awarded €3.5 million in PEACEPLUS funding to launch the Smart Rural Innovation Driven Empowerment (STRIDE) programme. The initiative, designed to address the unique challenges faced by rural communities, brings together South West College, Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Alacrity, Atlantic Technological University, Leitrim County Enterprise Fund, and Ulster University. STRIDE will operate out of two key innovation hubs—The Workhouse in Enniskillen and The HIVE in Carrick-on-Shannon. With a team of specialist staff embedded within rural communities across Fermanagh, Tyrone, Leitrim, and Sligo, the programme aims to empower local citizens by using cutting-edge digital technologies to tackle societal and economic challenges. The ultimate goal of STRIDE is to enhance the quality of life in rural areas, enabling more effective delivery of social and economic services while promoting long-term community sustainability.
Community Wellbeing Coordinator

Dental Nurse
We have an exciting opportunity for a Dental Nurse to be part of our family run group of Practices and to join our team in 372 Cregagh Road working in a fully Denplan practice. As this is a Denplan Practice, an enhanced hourly rate will be offered. The successful applicant will work 40 hours per week from 8:30-5:30pm from Monday to Friday. Duties will include assisting the dentist, sterilising dental equipment, keeping the surgery clean and occasional reception duties. Promoting high standards of patient care at all times is vital. Community Child Development Officer (Ref: E/CCDO/B/251) Job details: Hours: 35 hours per week (flexibility required) Salary: £23,769.20 per annum Contract: Fixed term initially until March 2026 (may be extended subject to funding) Job Background: The Community Child Development Officer will support the delivery of community-based programmes, with a particular focus on early years and children’s services. This role involves engaging with families, facilitating child-centred activities, and working in partnership with local agencies to enhance outcomes in health, education, income, and employment. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Work alongside the Community Child Development Lead, following their leadership and guidance to ensure the effective delivery of programmes and services. Build, strengthen, and sustain relationships within communities to support identified needs, such as school readiness and after-school support. Identify service users in need, provide home visits, offer signposting, and facilitate (or assist in facilitating) targeted group sessions for children and parents. Deliver engaging, age-appropriate play and learning opportunities that support children’s development in safe and welcoming environments.
