Schedule dependent on slaughter Key Responsibilities: • Responsible for receiving livestock to the Lairage pen. • Understanding declarations and ensuring all are completed and accurate • Verifying that all cattle have adequate paperwork and passports. • Responsible for ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare are observed at all times. • Recording livestock paperwork, meeting farmers / agents at intake. Requirements: • Background in livestock management / farming • Must be available for early starts • Computer literate, good general communication skills and a good competency in regards to maintaining accurate and clear records. Health & Safety/Environmental Officer

Role: Reporting to site General Manager and liaising with group Health and Safety /Environmental departments. Job description and Responsibilities to include but not limited to the following: · Engaging with Site Management Team in relation to the role · Responsible for being up to date with new Health & Safety Legislation and maintaining a working knowledge of developments within our industry. · Building on the existing the Health & Safety Culture throughout the site · Conducting regular internal audits to check policies & procedures are being properly implemented, recording the results & communicating them to Management. · Carrying out/updating risk assessments, formulating preventative measures, and monitoring conformance · Developing safe systems of work & maintaining risk trackers as required · Investigating, recording & conducting follow ups of any incident, accident, or near misses · Ensuring the site Emergency Plan & Procedures is up to date, communicated & understood by all key personnel. · Ensuring all equipment is installed & operated safely as per legislation. · Leading third party Health & Safety /Environmental inspections & audits · Organise employee induction/training and keeping training records up to date · Upkeep of Company’s Environmental Management system · Daily inspections of site and record keeping ensuring compliance with environmental licence. · Upkeep of company’s energy management system accredited to 50001 standards. Group Operations Manager

This role is to ensure C&D Foods operations can both meet its current objectives and develop a continuous improvement culture where we can improve the quality, output and OTIF (Customer Service Level) of the business while ensuring the structure of the business is managed to a standard. Key Relationships: · Develop an understanding of ensure a transfer of knowledge on successes across the site · Lead the morning group production meeting and minute and publish the outcome of the meeting daily · Work closely with the various site engineering teams · Work with production to ensure the sites are staffed to the standard manning level · Ensuring that Standard operating procedures are in place for all processes · Ensure the standard of people training of the people is sufficient and that there is the correct documentation in place to ensure consistent training · The role requires travelling to the site to understand the operation of the site first hand · Ensure each site is operating to our quality standards and any issues are raised to the site General Manager and relevant Group Heads. · Responsible for ensuring health and safety on each site is maintained in its operations · Develop action plans with the site to ensure the above tasks are met · Produce a weekly report on the state of every site and the action plan to turn any metrics that are red to green. Personal Competencies and Qualifications: The role requires a degree qualified self starter who can learn and manage a process end to end. The key aspect of this role is to learn both the technical aspects of the process and be able to layer the understanding of people and how they integrate into the process. The understanding of people will include the management of the people who operate the equipment and the supervisors and managers who oversee these people. The role requires weekly travel to various sites and the ability to work with the General Manager of each site and interface across the various sections of the business, particularly engineering and quality.
