Team Leader

Salary £15.14 per hour Hours 30 hrs per week Flexibility is required to work within the rota system in order to meet the needs of the residents, the service and statutory regulation and availability to work evenings and weekends as required. The Service At South Belfast Living Options we provide support and care to adults over the age of 18 who have brain injury, Physical or Learning Disability, Sensory or Neurological Disability. The Role As part of the Living Options services, the Team Leader will be a part of the management team and will support the Registered Manager to meet the Domiciliary Care Agencies Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2007 and the DHSS&PS Domiciliary Care Agency Minimum Standards. They will: Ensure that NIHE "Supporting People" contractual requirements and standards are met and maintained. Support the Registered Manager to develop and implement personalised care/support plans and individual risk assessments to meet individual needs. CORLANN –WEST REGION POST: PERMANENT PART-TIME SENIOR COMMUNITY FACILITATOR Strokestown Adult Services – (Strokestown, Elphin, Tulsk, Ballinagare & Ballaghaderreen areas) Ref: 100089 A panel may be formed as a result of this process from which subsequent Senior Community Facilitator Appointments within the Cruachan Services will be made over the next 6 months. Location: Assignment to Cruachan Services, initially based in the Strokestown/Tulsk area. Future developments within the services may require that you are prepared to transfer to other work locations as the service needs demand. The Role: This is a direct support/front line role providing support to an individual with Intellectual Disability, Autism and Complex Behaviours. The successful candidate will take a lead role with the implementation of the Behaviour Support Plan and leading the team to deliver a quality-based service. This will involve supporting the Individual during behaviours of distress. This role includes working as a key worker to support and advocate for the individual supported by the service. The role is to support the person in all aspects of their life focusing on the individual’s ability while promoting independence and development of skills. The role will assist and support the individual, with the development of their person centred plan, the achievement of associated outcomes, to live a meaningful life and fulfil their potential. The successful candidate will encourage community participation and inclusion in positive ways, seek opportunities for new experiences and encourage positive risk taking. Qualifications/Experience/Skills: Working Hours: 1 x Permanent Part-Time 60 hours a fortnight Rostered Monday to Friday. Contracted hours of work are liable to change from 8am to 8pm to meet the requirements of the programme. Future developments within the services may require that you are prepared to transfer to other work locations as the service needs demand. Corlann model of service is based on Personal Outcome Measures quality and person centred planning system requiring employees to be flexible in their working hours to provide a quality service delivery for each person supported. Annual Leave: 22 days per annum (pro-rata for part-time), i.e. 8.46 hours per 100 hours worked. Remuneration: €41,431 x 8 increments - €52,317 (Max) per annum pro-rata (Department of Health Senior Instructor/Supervisor Grade as at 01/06/2026). LSI 1 €54,011 per annum pro-rata is paid after 3 years on the maximum of the scale. LSI 2 €55,805 per annum pro-rata is paid after a further 3 years.
