Role: Bus Driver Location: Dublin – Slane Hours: 25 per week Contract Type: 1 Year Pay: €13.50 per hour Position Summary: The Bus Driver is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of passengers, primarily children or individuals with special needs, during transportation to and from their homes and ChildVision. Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: Safety and Security: · Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure it is clean and safe. · Ensure all passengers are properly seated and secured before the bus departs. · Assist with emergency evacuations and drills, following established procedures. · Report any safety concerns or incidents to the bus driver and/or supervisor. · Be aware of first aid procedures, and be able to perform them if needed. Communication and Assistance: · Communicate effectively with passengers, parents/guardians, and school/facility staff. · Provide clear and concise instructions to passengers. · Assist passengers with personal items and belongings. · Maintain accurate records of passenger attendance and any incidents that occur. · Maintain professional and courteous communication with all parties. Route and Schedule Adherence : · Be familiar with the designated pick-up and drop-off locations. · Alert the driver to any potential hazards on the route. Maintaining a Positive Environment: · Create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all passengers. · Encourage positive interactions and respectful behaviour. Senior Physiotherapist
BROTHERS OF CHARITY SERVICES IRELAND – WEST REGION 2 X POSTS OF PERMANENT PART-TIME SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST CHILDREN’S DISABILITY NETWORK 6 TEAM JOB REF: 80143 A panel may be formed as a result of this process from which subsequent Senior Physiotherapist appointments within CDNT-6, may be made over the next 6 months. The Role: The Permanent Part-Time Senior Physiotherapist will be responsible for the delivery of Physiotherapy support to Children accessing Children’s Disability Network Team 6 (CDNT6). CDNT6 provide services to children from 0-18 with complex development needs which include physical, sensory, intellectual disabilities and autism. The Brothers of Charity Services Ireland (BOCSI) are the lead agency for this team. CDNT’s are interdisciplinary teams who work within a Family Centred Practice model and work collaboratively with children, families and other stakeholders to meet goals identified by the family. The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of a physiotherapy service to include assessment, diagnostics and delivering intervention to children and young persons in clinic, school, home and community settings. CDNT6 covers a geographical area of: Galway City East, Claregalway, Gort, Headford and Oranmore. There are 2 positions available: Working Hours: Hours will be within the hours of 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday. Contracted hours are liable to change between the hours of 8am– 8pm as future service needs require. The Brothers of Charity model of service is based on Personal Outcome Measures requiring employees to be flexible in their working hours to provide a quality service delivery for each individual. Annual Leave: 29 days pro-rata per annum. Remuneration: Department of Health Physiotherapist, Senior Salary scale (01/03/2025) is €63,279 x 8 increments - €74,509 pro-rata per annum. Purpose of the Post To be responsible for the management, care and treatment of service users, to ensure that the optimum standard of care is provided within the designated area(s) of responsibility. The primary role of the CNM 1 will be one of clinical and professional leadership and development in the nursing team, including the development of nursing staff by means of in-service training, orientation of new staff and arranging for clinical experience and supervision of student nurses where this is appropriate. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Professional / Clinical The Clinical Nurse Manager 1 will: Personnel / Administrative The Clinical Nurse Manager 1 will: · Exercise authority in the running of the assigned area(s) as deputised by the CNM2/ADON. · Provide the necessary co-ordination and deployment of nursing and support staff in designated area(s) of responsibility, ensuring that skill mix takes account of fluctuating workloads and ensuring maximisation of available resources. · Assess and monitor trends through collection and analysis of activity and data and keeping CNM2 and Senior Nursing Management informed of changing work patterns, which may require increased resource allocation. · Collaborate with the CNM2 in preparing, implementing and evaluating budget and service plans for the clinical area. · Co-operate in managing all resources - including midwives and non-nursing staff within an agreed budget. · Promote a culture that values diversity and respect in the workplace. · Assist in maintaining the necessary clinical and administrative records and reporting arrangements / contribute to quality assurance by assisting in data collection. · Ensure that patient care equipment is maintained to an appropriate standard. · Ensure compliance with legal requirements, policies and procedures affecting service users, staff and other hospital matters. · Participate actively in the Nursing Management structure by ‘acting up’ when required. · Engage in IT developments as they apply to service user and service administration.
