Classes include; Zumba, Bollywood dancing, Line dancing, Clubbercise, Boogie Bounce, Mini Ballerinas, Yoga and Pilates. In this role you will be responsible for setting up and ensuring the smooth running and delivery of the classes, creating memories for our guests that will last a lifetime. The successful candidate will have a naturally outgoing personality and must ensure the highest level of service and enthusiasm is demonstrated throughout the classes and as per company standards and training. Due to the sensitive nature of this role the successful applicant will be required to undergo Garda Vetting. This disclosure, together with other selection information, will need to be satisfactory to the Company for employment to commence.  HOURS OF WORK  You will be contracted to work 30 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive your contracted hours each period. Flexibility is required as hours and days of work will vary. The position will commence in September/October 2020 and there is flexibility for the post to be either a 0.5 position for 12 months or fulltime position for 6 months. UCD Radiography & Diagnostic Imaging is the national centre for undergraduate Radiography education. A range of taught graduate courses are also offered. We have a well-developed research profile, with an excellent record of success for postgraduates at MSc and PhD level. The appointment is funded by National Forum research funding for a specific research project “Embedding virtual reality (VR) radiography training to enhance the student learning experience”. The successful applicant will be part of a research group and be involved in research funded by the National Forum. The applicant will be involved in the development of student and staff support material associated with VR suite activity and in developing material to disseminate information regarding the use of VR technology in radiography skills labs. The successful applicant will have a responsibility for weekly clinical skills labs for undergraduate and graduate entry Radiography and undertaking assessments and gaining feedback from students and other stakeholders with respect to clinical skills training. During the COVID-19 PANDEMIC the demonstrator will be part of the team teaching radiographic practice using novel methods to include 2D virtual reality labs on line and on-line tutorials to support students during semester 1 20/21, resuming full labs on-site potentially in semester 2.
