Job Description Undertaking testing of wastewaters, waters + purified water samples in line with procedures for a variety of tests. This position is based in Cahir on site 5 days per week. Your main responsibilities will include: · Undertaking day to day effective, accurate + efficient processing of workload in the lab + to perform tasks assigned by the senior staff. · Reports directly to the Environmental Manager and has responsibility for the upkeep of Lab Management system for ABP including all SOP updates as required. · Report daily results to each site and advise them on how to proceed to ensure compliance · Adhering to regulations and lab policies regarding health and safety. · Maintain a clean and hygienic working environment. · Handling + testing samples for various water and environmental tests for a number of sites according to procedures, including attention to sample preparation, temperature control, storage + prevention of cross-contamination. · Maintaining accurate and systematic records of testing. · To have a sound knowledge of relevant documents within the Quality system. · Reporting any non-compliance to the Group Environmental Manager and initiate corrective actions · Maintain Lab Accreditation for the management system · Implement new Lab Software program · Collations of data for software developers · Additional duties as required. Qualifications Primary degree subjects such as environmental and earth sciences, environmental engineering, or chemistry and an interested in Lab management systems. Maintenance Technician
Job Description • Maintenance Technicians and planned maintenance of plant, equipment, plant services, design upgrading, fabrication and installation of equipment; • Deliver a high quality maintenance service to production; • Resolve operational or technical equipment problems to minimise processing/manufacturing interruptions resulting from equipment breakdowns/failures; • Involvement in customer technical audits; • Electrical Experience; • Ensure implementation of company policy with respect to: Health & Safety, Hygiene, Quality & Maintenance procedures; • Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines; • Work as a member of the Mechanical Maintenance team, including contributing to a positive team environment and supporting the training and development of others Requirements • 2+ years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician • Ability to trouble shoot and repair damaged or poor performing equipment; • Problem Solving Skills; • Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills; • A flexible attitude and a proven record as a strong team player; • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines; • Knowledge of, and commitment to maintenance planning techniques and philosophies, including a continuous improvement approach. They will perform installation, repair and troubleshooting work with electrical and mechanical systems/equipment in all areas of the factory. ESSENTIAL CRITERIA Hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in Photography or an equivalent qualification that contains at least 50% photography content. Have a minimum of one year’s experience working in the Photography Industry Demonstrate a current working knowledge of digital photography software and printing, dark room developing and processing techniques including black & white. Demonstrate a working knowledge of a professional photography studio set up and related equipment.
