Shape how we invest local government pensions in Northern Ireland NILGOSC administers the Local Government Pension Scheme in Northern Ireland. We manage a multi-billion-pound pension fund invested across a wide range of asset classes and have a strong commitment to responsible investing. Investments include Fixed Income, Equities, Property and Infrastructure. Equity holdings include a large passive holding in a Low Carbon Transition Developed Markets Equity Fund which has a carbon reduction target. Other examples of what we invest in include: offshore and onshore wind farms; airports, toll roads, rail networks; healthcare facilities and commercial and residential property across the UK and internationally. We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our Investment team to enhance our approach to asset management and monitoring. You will be responsible for managing a segment of NILGOSC’s global investment portfolio including the provision of strategic and technical advice to the Committee. As Investment Services Manager, you will be the Investment lead with NILGOSC’s global custodian, overseeing performance analytics, revenue generation and the efficient transition of assets across investment portfolios. You will also be responsible for reviewing investment costs, as well as monitoring the Fund for sanctioned holdings and for any holdings which have a higher investment risk due to ESG, political or economic uncertainty. In delivering on NIPSO’s accountability and value for money obligations the ARC member will be mindful of the need to protect the Ombudsman’s operational independence. The Ombudsman, as Accounting Officer, has responsibility for issues of risk, control and governance. The Ombudsman appoints an Audit and Risk Committee to provide additional scrutiny and assurance. The ARC’s role is not operational, neither has it any role in NIPSO’s decision making processes. Rather the ARC’s role is to advise and support the Ombudsman as Accounting Officer.

Dental Nurse
We have an exciting opportunity for a Dental Nurse to be part of our family run group of Practices and to join our team in Whitehead on a full-time temporary basis to cover a period of maternity leave for 9-12 months.The successful applicant will work 37.75 hours per week from 8:45am-5:30pm, Monday to Thursday and 8:45am-4:30pm on Friday. Duties will include assisting the dentist, sterilising dental equipment, keeping the surgery clean and occasional reception duties. Promoting high standards of patient care at all times is vital. Health & Wellbeing Case Officer Health and Wellbeing HWBCO/04/26 Job Grade: Staff Officer (SO) Permanent Salary will be in the range £37,694 - £38,990 per annum Closing date for applications: 17:00 on Monday 11th May 2026 Purpose of the role The post holder will function as the key liaison between the Health and Wellbeing Case Managers employed by VSS and a network of Health and Wellbeing Caseworkers employed within the community and voluntary sector. The post holder will establish robust processes and procedures for supporting victims and survivors accessing services. By the closing date for applications, candidates must demonstrate that they fulfil each of the following essential criteria: 1. 5 GCSEs grade A-C or equivalent (which must include English and Maths). 2. Catering Delivery Driver
Salary: £12.71 per hour (rising to £13.45 per hour) Job Description: • Deliver catering orders to customers in a timely manner. • Ensure customers receive the correct items and report any discrepancies to the catering manager. • Helping prep and box up orders for delivery. • Communicating effectively with customers and colleagues. • Load and unload orders into the van. • Ensure orders are transported safely, following food health and safety regulations. • Picking up supplies and delivering them to the Ability Cafes as required. • Regularly check the delivery van to ensure it is road worthy. • Driving safely and responsibly within the law.
