The dietitians work with inpatients and outpatients across all the Mater specialties including the National Centre for Cardiothoracic Surgery and Heart and Lung Transplantation, National Centre for Spinal Injuries, Adult National Inherited Metabolic Disorders (IMD) and the National Centre for HIPEC surgery as well as being a Cancer Centre. This temporary Senior Dietitian post is to cover a maternity leave in the trauma service. We use NCP assessment and diagnosis steps in our work, and include physical assessment.
