Job Summary Housing Support Worker Location: Remote working covering the Armagh/Dungannon region Salary: £13,033 per annum (£11.935 per hour) Contract: Permanent Work hours: 21 hours Please note we do not offer sponsorship for these roles. Your new role  You will work independently with a caseload of service users, building a relationship of trust and respect to achieve the best outcomes for your service users. GALWAY REF: 73535 A panel may be formed as a result of this process from which subsequent Staff Nurse/Enhanced Nurse appointments within the Clarin Services may be made over the next 6 months. Location: Clarin service is a developing community-based day and residential service in East Galway environs. We provide individualised services, centre-based and community-based day and residential service to adults with high support needs, based on personal outcome measures. We strive to provide an excellent service, integrating the community as much as possible into the daily lives of the people supported by the services. The Role: To provide clinical nursing skills in supporting people with intellectual disabilities in achieving optimum level of independence. To exhibit and maintain the highest quality of nursing practice and apply their skills to ensure the physical, social, emotional needs of the people supported by the services in their care are addressed at all times. Be responsible for the provision of nursing care and be an informed resource for educating support workers and family members, which shall benefit people supported by the services. Qualifications: All posts are based on a 14 day/night duty roster. The successful candidate will be required to be completely flexible and will be required to work days, evenings, weekends, public holidays, night duty and programme hours to meet service needs. The enhanced nurse may be required to undertake other duties appropriate to the position and within their scope of practice including deputising for the Team Leader in their absence. The post holder will provide advice and clinical support to work colleagues at evenings and weekends throughout the Clarin Services. The Brothers of Charity model of service is based on Personal Outcome Measures requiring employees to be flexible in their working hours to provide a quality service delivery for each individual. Annual Leave: 24 days per annum pro rata. Appropriate service related leave will be granted after 5 and 10 years’ service respectively. Remuneration: Staff Nurse - € 35,919 x 11 increments - € 52,294 pro rata per annum. Long Service Increment € 53,851 per annum is granted after 3 years on the maximum of the scale. Enhanced Nurse - € 42,872 x 7 increments - € 54,013 per annum. Long Service Increment €55,594 per annum is granted after 3 years on the maximum of the scale. The successful candidate will be granted incremental credit subject to satisfactory verification of previous relevant nursing service and where applicable will be placed on the enhanced staff nurse scale. Tenure: • 3 x permanent, full-time and pensionable (consideration will be given to those looking for part-time hours). • 1 x permanent, part-time and pensionable.
