Visual Merchandiser

The Person EZ Living Furniture requires a full time Visual Merchandiser with flair and a real eye for detail to make our stores in Limerick, Tipperary Road and City East an exciting and inviting place to shop. You will be part of our Visual Merchandising team reporting to our Regional Visual Merchandiser Manager. This very rewarding role involves merchandising according to seasonal themes. The role will involve working on your own initiative, continuously looking for alternative ways of creating an effect/atmosphere in the store, which will help our customers to make that purchasing decision through your displays. Giftware Sales Advisor/Visual Merchandiser

We are the largest independent Furniture Retailer in Ireland employing over 350 people. We are looking for a part time Giftware Sales person with Visual Merchandising experience to join us in our New Drogheda Store. The Person • Must be an enthusiastic individual with a talent for selling, matched with a strong customer focus. • Goal driven, ambitious with a hunger to be successful. • A desire to develop and progress within an expanding company. • Achieve weekly sales targets, using our POS system and dealing with our customers on a day to day basis, both by telephone and in person. • Energetic and enthusiastic. • Willingness to provide a top class professional service. Skills and Qualifications • You will be an experienced retail advisor with at least two years retail experience and some VM/Display experience. • Furniture experience would be a benefit but not essential. • Previous achievement of sales targets will be an advantage. • You will have strong IT skills and an excellent telephone manner. • You will be a team player with excellent communication skills. • Able to use your own initiative, you will be hard working, conscientious with strong motivational skills. Principal Duties: · Overseeing the implementation of internal controls in all departments and cost centres. · Performing regular analysis of main cost centre spending. · Detailed analysis of waste processing costings at our various depots and facilities, preparing reports from same for management. · Performing route analysis information on all our differing routes and performing profitability analysis across all routes. · Internal Controls/Internal Audit. Conducting various internal audits over cash handling, occasional site visits, controls over fixed assets, stocks etc · Review of our purchasing function in conjunction with our Purchasing Manager and ensuring robust purchasing procedures are employed throughout the company. Transport Coordinator
Role Summary: To work to the resolution of daily challenges and taking emergency action where necessary to maintain operations of the fleet. You would be part of a team of 7 ensuring the smooth delivery of our service, and efficient operations of our routes and crews. Responsibilities & Duties: · Monitor communications with vehicles, drivers and on-board systems to meet service requirements. · Monitor and assist compliance with transport regulations · Analyse fleet performance, understand the underlying drivers and proactively work on improvements with the wider Logistics Team and coordinate drivers and crew members based on route demand. · Communicate professionally, effectively and assertively with colleagues · Ensure compliance with site agreements, health and safety standards and defect reporting. · Confirming completion of scheduled jobs / customer requests Requirements: · You are proficient with Excel, Microsoft Office and Google Suite · Ability to work under own initiative with strong motivational skills · Exceptional written and communications skills and big picture vision. · Ability to get to the problem, find the solution and get people together to make it happen · Strong team player, Customer Focused · Be self-motivated and ambitious and enjoy working in a busy environment.
