City of Dublin ETB has 3,000 employees and an annual budget of €580m. It is the state education and training authority for Dublin city and serves the area covered by Dublin City Council. This provision is delivered to over 48,000 learners (20,000 full-time and 28,000 part-time) and is supported by a range of services including a psychological service, a curriculum development unit, a buildings maintenance unit and Head Office staff in Ballsbridge. It also has statutory responsibility for supporting the provision, coordination, administration and assessment of youth work services in Dublin city and is the lead partner for Music Generation Dublin City. City of Dublin ETB is also responsible for the national awarding authority for student grants in Ireland, Student Universal Support Ireland (SUSI). Since its establishment in 1983, City of Dublin ETB’s Finglas Training Centre has been embedded as the provider of vocational training for those wishing to enter the labour market. Since then, thousands of learners attending our courses have expanded their skills and knowledge in their chosen field of learning. Courses provide training for new labour market entrants and those seeking to upskill, or change career direction, offering certification QQI Level 5 and 6 and/ or Industry specific Certification. Salary: €49,497 - €77,920 pro rata per annum. Starting pay will be dependent on an applicant’s post-qualification experience. M.A.M.F. Apprentice
Harold Engineering Ltd require an apprentice MAMF to train as a Field Service Engineer with focus on compressed air & garage equipment division: the role will comprise of service and maintenance calls to a large existing customer base both in Galway and the surrounding counties. The role is open to first year apprentices. In your role as apprentice you will: • Gain knowledge, experience and support while learning to install, maintain and repair compressed air plant, Garage Equipment and ancillary equipment within customer sites while working alongside qualified and competent persons. • Learn how to carry out planned preventative maintenance in accordance with maintenance schedules • Deal with reactive maintenance calls as required and learn valuable on the job experience. • Learn how to Identify and implement PM improvements on equipment • become familiar with the process of Maintaining computerised and manual records/reports and liaise with service department personnel / suppliers and customers alike Requirements: • Experience in an MAMF role would be beneficial • Basic Electrical Experience would be beneficial • Hands on approach to solving problems, learning on the job is a must • Excellent communication, interpersonal and reporting skills • Ability to work as part of a team • Be flexible in terms of operational requirements and customer demands be willing to travel to other sites as part of reactive maintenance • Be prepared to work flexible patterns as and when required by reactive maintenance schedule

An Overview of the Level 8 Quantity Surveyor Apprenticeship An apprenticeship is a full-time programme that combines work-based learning with a formal training programme. Throughout your apprenticeship, you will work as a full- time member of staff with your employer, who will release you to attend the structured training programme with the training provider the earn as you learn approach. The learning component will be delivered through Atlantic Technological University, Co. Sligo Initially who function as the co-ordinating provider along with SCSI for Quantity Surveyor Apprenticeships in Ireland. The academic modules will be delivered online one day per week, with remaining four days on the job. Those who successfully achieve all programme elements will attain a bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying at Level 8 on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ). Attendance at all scheduled training and achieving the various certifications involved, is a mandatory requirement for you to successfully complete the programme. The start date for apprentices recruited to join the programme will be early September 2026. Please note that requests for deferrals cannot be accommodated.
