Trainee Script Editor: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract: June 2024 – June 2025 Northern Ireland Screen and BBC Drama Commissioning are recruiting a Trainee Script Editor for a one-year paid placement opportunity with Two Cities Television. The placement will consist of full-time employment within the company’s script development department and will include training and mentoring. The placement will be focused on Television Drama. ​​​ Two Cities Television Two Cities Television was founded with the ambition to produce both returning, event and prestige dramas that are powerful, complex, and have intriguing stories at their heart. Job Summary Job Title: Trainee Script Editor Contract Length: 12 months Start Date: 17th June 2024 Hours: 40 hours per week (increasing to 60 hours per week during shoot periods) Salary: Real Living Wage (Currently £12.00 per hour) Where is it based? For the duration of the training placement the trainee’s workplace will be Two Cities, City East Business Centre, 3rd Floor, 68-72 Newtownards Road, BT4 1GW but it may be necessary for the Trainee to work on location and in other production offices if required. Participants will be expected to base themselves in Northern Ireland for the duration of the scheme. Who is eligible to apply?
