The Role Our success is built on the continued on site support we deliver to our customers once the installation is complete. The role of site maintenance engineer therefore plays an important part in the on going servicing fault rectification and relationship management requirements. We are now looking to recruit a maintenance engineer to support the customer on site with delivering the planned maintenance schedule and fault rectification activities. Carry out AMHE equipment servicing in accordance with the quality standards and time schedules as set out in the equipment manuals To undertake scheduled repairs in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations and industry standard practices Diagnosis of Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / PLC / PC faults and subsequent repairs Prioritise system faults To comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times To ensure quality of output at all times To accurately record all work undertaken Involvement in continuous improvement and sales opportunities Maintain product flow at all times To ensure on-site spares are kept to optimum level To represent the company in a professional manner at all times and maintain customer relations To adhere to the Quality processes and procedures as set out by the company What We Are Looking For To be successful in this role you will ideally have previous experience in an automated warehouse environment or be looking to develop your maintenance career in the automated warehousing industry.

As part of the learning process apprentices will complete a level 6 NFQ course in logistics in Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT). The programme will be split as 4 days in DGF Dublin and one day in college. This programme is suited for individuals who may be looking to enter the world of logistics or develop their current knowledge of the industry. Key Accountabilities: Minimum Entry Requirements: Minimum entry requirements are a grade H7/O6 or above in five leaving certificate (or equivalent) subjects. A minimum of grade O6 must be obtained in English. A minimum of grade O6 or a B2 or above in Foundation level must be obtained in Mathematics. Holders of a QQI Level 5 or Level 6 (or equivalent) in cognate areas (e.g. business, Logistics and Distribution, supply chain management, etc.) can apply for entry onto the programme. Applicants may also be eligible to become apprentices via Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). RPL processes require the applicant to provide evidence of appropriate past learning, whether that is certified or experiential learning. In some cases it may be sufficient for the applicant to provide copies of appropriate certificates. In other cases there may be a self-assessment exercise, preparation of a file or ‘portfolio’ of appropriate evidence of learning, an interview, and perhaps a demonstration or assessment task.
