Sales Apprentice

First Year Apprentice Vacancy We are seeking an enthusiastic new team member for our sales team to take part in the Sales Apprenticeship Programme. This is a structured 2-year programme resulting in a level 6 degree and 2 years real world experience. This course combines practical, on-the-job experience and formal off-the-job learning, giving apprentices a comprehensive understanding of sales and customer engagement. Sales Apprentice Training & Development The apprenticeship is delivered through a blended learning approach, including: • On-the-job training within the workplace, where apprentices will learn practical sales skills in a real business environment • Off-the-job learning delivered by the Education and Training Board (ETB), consisting of: Online classes Face-to-face workshops Apprentices will be released from their normal work duties, where required, to attend all scheduled online learning and in-person training sessions. The above list is not exhaustive, and the role may evolve as per business needs including but not limited to: • Support sales team activities • Engaging with customers • Building and maintaining excellent customer relationships • Maintaining accurate customer and sales records • Preparation of quotes and proposals • Order processing • Assisting with lead generation and business development • Researching potential customers and market opportunities • Supporting sales campaigns • Shadowing senior staff members • Assist with sales reporting and forecasting • Working collaboratively with colleagues across all departments • Adhering to company policies, procedures and professional standards Qualification and Career Progression This is an “earn while you learn” programme, meaning apprentices are employed and paid while they train. Upon successful completion of the two-year programme, apprentices will: • Achieve a QQI-validated NFQ Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Sales Holders of this qualification will be well positioned to: • Progress within the organisation, and/or • Advance to further or higher education programmes. Entry Requirements Applicants must meet one of the following criteria: • Be 18 years of age or over, and • Have Grade O6 / H7 or above in five Leaving Certificate subjects, including: o Mathematics (F2 / O6 / H7) o English or Irish (O6 / H7) OR • Hold a full QQI Level 5 qualification or higher (for applicants without a Leaving Certificate) or equivalent or relevant work experience Benefits Company Pension Scheme Death in Service Scheme Bike to Work Scheme Employee Assistance Programme Wellbeing App/Initiatives Training to assist with personal development and business needs Opportunities for progression within a growing logistics firm
