Team Leader
CORLANN –WEST REGION PERMANENT FULL-TIME TEAM LEADER (Social Care Leader Grade) CLONARD ADULT SERVICES (Castlerea, Ballintubber, Ballinlough, Cloonfad areas) Job Ref: 106256 A panel may be formed as a result of this process from which subsequent Team Leader Appointments for Clonard Adult services may be made over the next 6/12 months. Location: Clonard Adult Services (Castlerea, Ballintubber, Ballinlough, Cloonfad areas). The Role: The Team Leader has a pivotal role in managing the day to day delivery of services. The Team Leader will provide leadership and supervision to teams while ensuring the development of the service in line with national standards and best practice. The main responsibilities are to assist the Team Manager with the management of the services, such as – person centred planning in line with Personal Outcome Measures ethos and practice, resource management and staffing - including rosters, staff development, facilitating communication and professional leadership in order to ensure a good quality of life for the people supported. Qualifications/Experience: Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition have: Be registered in the Social Care Workers Register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board - CORU Or Be eligible under the Section 91 (existing practitioner) route for registration in the Social Care Workers Register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board - CORU (evidence of application status is necessary). And Working Hours: 1 X Permanent Full Time - Contracted hours will be 78 hours a fortnight rostered flexibly on a 7 day duty roster. The Team leader will work as a frontline member of the team with protected time to carry out specific team leader duties. In addition, a sleep-in and/or night duty commitment may be a requirement of posts in residential services for which the appropriate allowance will be paid. Corlann model of service is based on Personal Outcome Measures quality and person centred planning system requiring employees to be flexible in their working hours to provide a quality service delivery for each person supported. Annual Leave: Leave will be granted according to the agreed leave assigned to the grade of the successful candidates i.e. Social Care Leader. Annual leave must be planned in advance with the Team Manager to ensure appropriate and adequate cover is provided for the service. CORLANN –WEST REGION POST: PERMANET FULL-TIME TEAM MANAGER (Clinical Nurse Manager 2) CASTLEREA ADULT SERVICES (Castlerea, Ballintubber, Ballinlough, Loughglynn areas) Ref: 106254 Location: Clonard Adult Services (Castlerea, Ballintubber, Ballinlough, Loughglynn areas) The Role: The Team Manager will provide leadership and direction for the team, actively coordinating the team to ensure the development of person-centred services as agreed on the Service Plan for each Service Area. The role is full-time supernumerary. The Team Manager will support the staff teams and be responsible for the overall operational management of specified locations of the service. The successful candidates will work closely with the Service Coordinator/ Area Manager to ensure that services are delivered in an efficient and effective manner within the agreed budget, and will be proactive members of the management team. Qualifications/Experience: Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition have: A relevant 3rd level qualification in Nursing and current Live Register Certificate from NMBI And The post will be rostered on a 7-day basis. It is envisaged that the post will primarily be Monday to Friday. Contracted hours of work are flexible within the hours of 8am – 8pm. Some weekend work may occasionally be required.
