About this Role Responsible for ensuring the smooth and effective implementation of the Census 2027 enumeration within an assigned region. This involves closely overseeing progress in each field district to ensure that all work is carried out according to the detailed guidelines provided by Census Headquarters in Swords, Co. Dublin, and that all specified deadlines are met. Reports to: Census Liaison Officer in the Census Headquarters in Swords, Co. Dublin. Manages: The work of some 8 to 13 Field Supervisors who in turn will have a team of Field Support Officers. Location of Post The commitment for this post will be from 19th of October 2026 to 18th of June 2027, with 41.15 hours gross or 35 hours net per week. The officer’s headquarters will be such as may be designated from time to time by the Director General of the Central Statistics Office. For the time being, the Director General has designated the officer’s home as headquarters. An Office Accommodation Allowance of €12.77 gross per week worked is payable as a lump sum at the end of the contract term for the provision of this facility. The role includes assisting with the recruitment and training of field staff within their region and neighbouring regions, as well as applying rigorous quality control to all field operations. The Census Regional Supervisor will also be required to be proficient with the smartphone application used to record interactions with households. The role is carried out under the guidance of an assigned Census Liaison Officer. The Central Statistics Office also reserves the right to terminate the officer’s employment for stated reasons. In the event of unsatisfactory performance of duty, the appointment may be terminated by notification in writing one week prior to the proposed date of termination. In the event of serious misconduct, the appointment may be terminated without notice. For the position of Census Regional Supervisor, the rate of pay will be €38,419 annual equivalent plus supervisory allowance of €130.59 per week. Where the appointee is 70 years of age or over, the rate of pay will be €36,843 annual equivalent, non-PPC aligned, plus allowance of €130.59 per week. Working in partnership with each person supported by Corlann, we aim to create opportunities for people supported by Corlann to have ordinary life experiences and to be closely connected to family and friends. We are committed to supporting people to live a life of their choosing.   Hyde Adult Services provide a range of community-based servicesincluding day, residential, respite, community outreach, family support and a range of multidisciplinary support services. People are supported in day centres, supported employment, social and micro enterprises, training and education and these can be in groups or individualised. People are supported in residential settings in their own homes in the community individually and in groups. We wish to create opportunities for people who use our services to have valued social roles in their communities and to form friendships. Facilitate team building, staff motivation to build positive and proactive supports and working environment. ·        Evaluate and manage the implementation of best practice and ensure that all staff are familiar with and adhere to the policies and procedures of Corlann – West Region. ·        Along with the Service Coordinator/ Area Manager, ensure that all repairs to buildings and equipment are carried out promptly. ·        Ensure all records are maintained correctly and accurately in relation to accidents, incidents, complaints, meetings, organisational and HSE requirements and HIQA notifications. ·        Ensure all data bases, systems and auditing requirements are up to date as per policies and procedures. ·        Ensure that best practice, high professional standards and confidentiality are maintained at all times. ·        Participate in managing all resources efficiently and effectively within the agreed budget. ·        Facilitate co-ordination, co-operation, liaison and communication across multidisciplinary teams and services. ·        Participate in a paid on-call all rota, usually requiring a commitment twice a year. ·        Engage with family representatives in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team and the management team and in line with the wishes of people supported. ·        Promote and facilitate community liaison including advocacy, citizen advocacy and human rights. ·        Promote dignity at work and show respect to people supported by the services, colleagues and other stakeholders in the course of duty. ·        Be aware of and become familiar with fire drill procedures within the services i.e. fire detection, evacuation and firefighting. ·        Be conscious of Health and Safety matters in the workplace and in particular ensure that all team members comply with Employee’s obligations as set out under Section 9 of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005. ·        Avail of all training and development opportunities for your professional development. ·        Perform such other duties appropriate to the post as may be assigned to him/her by the Area Manager/Service Co-ordinator. The successful candidates will be involved in developing existing services through supporting the local staff teams. The Team Manager will have Person in Charge (PIC) responsibility and will oversee some residential and day service locations. Location: Roscommon Town, Kilteevan, Athleague, Tremane/Rahara The Role: The Team Manager will provide leadership and direction for the team, actively coordinating the team to ensure the development of person-centred services as agreed on the Service Plan for each Service Area. The role is full-time supernumerary. The Team Manager will support the staff teams and be responsible for the overall operational management of specified locations of the service.The successful candidates will work closely with the Service Coordinator/ Area Manager to ensure that services are delivered in an efficient and effective manner within the agreed budget, and will be proactive members of the management team. This is rostered between the management team for the county, currently 2-3 times per year. An on-call allowance is paid when applicable. Corlann model of service is based on Personal Outcome Measures quality and person centred planning system requiring employees to be flexible in their working hours to provide a quality service delivery for each person supported.
