To support and encourage access to collections through a range of museum-based and outreach exhibitions and activities. Learning Support Assistant Register
The Learning Support Assistant will have responsibility for providing additional learning support to students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities. He/she will be required to undertake a range of tasks associated with supporting learners on a range of full time and part time courses, this may include working one-on-one or in a small group within a classroom, supporting students with their education and social development. A Learning Support Assistant provides support to students who have a learning difficulty and/or disability such as specific literacy difficulties, Autism or Asperger’s Syndrome, mental health difficulties or mobility difficulties. * This is an application to the Permanent Casual Learning Support Register. Applicants have the potential to be offered up to 36 hours per week during term time. Student requirements are confirmed following an initial needs assessment with the Learning Support Co-ordinator at any point in the academic year. HGV Driver/refuse Team Leader
The post holder will drive the waste collection vehicles in a safe manner whilst providing advice and assistance to members of the public regarding waste collection services. A waiting list will be created for 12 months with the aim of ensuring ongoing availability of applicants deemed suitable for appointment as posts arise. The Role: Normal working pattern is Sunday to Thursday 10.00pm to 6.00am (37.5 hours per week).
