We are recruiting for a Trainee Health & Safety Officer to join our team in ABP Clones. The successful candidate will be based in ABP Clones, Teehill, Clones, Co Monaghan, on a full-time contract. Job description The Trainee Health & Safety Officer will be involved in supporting the H&S department in maintaining high standards of safety and regulatory compliance. This entry‑level role is designed for someone eager to learn, and is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate. There are opportunities for support in order to develop your skills and competencies. Training will be provided Key Responsibilities Requirements · At least 1 years’ experience working in a meat processing factory is required · Understanding of safety practices within meat production industry · Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team · Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal · Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment · Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn, with a positive “can-do” attitude · Computer literate – including use of Microsoft Office Word and Excel is required · Have the ability to deal with sensitive information in a confidential manner with unquestionable integrity.
