Job Ref 25-346-YO-POM-WEB Job Role  Peace of Mind (PoM) Youth Officer Location Western Trust, Northern sector (Londonderry/Strabane) Salary  £29,540 per annum Hours 37 Hours per Week (Fixed term until December 2027) Please note this post is funded via the Peace Plus Programme. Continuation of employment beyond this date is subject to funding. The Service The Peace of Mind project is a cross community/cross border initiative to address the significant mental health challenges young people including those with a disability, brain injury and autism. The project will support disabled young people in school or youth and community groups to develop strategies, skills and strength, leading to positive mental health and wellbeing. PoM is a fun, engaging, project supporting disabled children and teenagers aged 9-25. The project will provide opportunities to participate in a group-based programme, improve social connections and health & wellbeing. The PoM project is supported by the European Union’s PEACEPLUS Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). The Role The Youth Officer is responsible for the promotion and inclusion of children and young people with disabilities, autism and brain injury in a personal development project, developing their social and emotional skills to enable them to participate in their local community. They will deliver a mental health personal development programme, develop young peer mentors and facilitate the promotion of Disability & Inclusion Training to local stakeholders, funders and the wider community. They will work in line with quality standards and ensure the project provides a meaningful, fun, supportive and inclusive place for our young people to become motivated and reach their full potential. Essential Criteria RQF level 6 (e.g. Bachelor’s Degree) or equivalent level in Youth & Community, Health & Social Care, Education or another relevant discipline.  AND Minimum of 1 years’ paid experience of planning and delivering group based personal and social development programmes for children and young people. OR Minimum RQF 4 or equivalent level in Youth & Community, Health & Social Care, Education or another relevant discipline.  AND Minimum of 3 years’ paid experience of planning and delivering group based personal and social development programmes for children and young people. The College is seeking applications for a Student Services Support Officer at our Springtown Campus for a fixed term maternity cover post until July 2026. The post holder will provide a range of support and services within the Learning Link Centre with particular focus on developing students’ independent study skills and promoting the integration of Study Skills into all learning programmes. The postholder will be integrated into the wider student services team to support student finance and assist with activities and events. Prism Agri-food Research & Innovation Co-ordinator

The College is seeking applications for 3 PRISM Agri-Food Research & Innovation (R&I) Co-ordinators for fixed-term 3 year posts. The postholders will be based at the SMEs’/companies’ premises with limited time spent at the Strand Road or Limavady Campuses. The post holder will work as an embedded R&I Co-ordinator – Agri-Food, to help drive real change in the Agri-Food sector helping participating SMEs (Small & Medium Enterprises)/Companies with innovation and decarbonisation. Additionally, they will support the PRISM Agri-Food Cluster Manager and Foodovation™ Centre to ensure the successful delivery of the PRISM programme. The role involved providing support to a number of agri-food SMEs, helping them find and introduce low-carbon solutions, sustainable methods, and new or improved products or processes within their manufacturing sectors. The post holder will work with each SME to design and put in place strategies that drive measurable improvements in efficiency, sustainability, and competitiveness across the participating SMEs.
