Physiotherapist, Paediatric Palliative Care

The Role The post holder will be a member of the multidisciplinary palliative care team within the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice. He/she will carry out all duties associated with the provision of therapy including the undertaking of physiotherapy assessment, treatment and review of children with life limiting or life-threatening conditions, many of whom will have associated complex healthcare needs. He/she will contribute to the development, supervision and governance of children’s palliative care physiotherapy. He/she will contribute and where appropriate lead on projects, teaching initiatives and research and will be responsible for their own personal and professional development through liaison with the Head/Deputy Head of Children’s Hospice Services, Care Team Manager and colleagues. He/she will take a lead role in the moving and handling training for care team staff and other staff groups as appropriate. A warm and welcoming place for relatives, visitors, and the general public to come and relax, the 35-seat coffee shop is situated in tranquil surroundings and serves high quality produce as well as providing excellent customer service. Role We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Café Supervisor to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join Northern Ireland's leading charity. Led by the Coffee Shop Manager and supported by Hospice volunteers, the Coffee Shop Supervisor will create an environment reflecting the ethos and work of Northern Ireland Hospice by building a positive reputation for quality and outstanding service while injecting the necessary personality to create a warmth of welcome expected by our clientele.
