Production Operator
Since its formation in 1978, Moore Concrete Products Ltd has developed into a world class, quality focused, precast concrete manufacturer based outside Ballymena. The company is customer focus led, ensuring the continued evolution of our extensive product range, designed to meet the requirements of civil infrastructure, agriculture and building customers across the UK and Ireland. We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join our growing Production team within the standard factories on a permanent and temporary basis. The purpose of this role is to operate as part of our expanding team in the production of precast concrete products in accordance with Company standards and targets, adhering to the daily production plan e.g., preparing moulds, pouring concrete, producing all planned products, carrying out tasks effectively and meeting health and safety standards. As part of our growing team, you will be contributing to the construction Industry and also award-winning projects across the UK and Ireland. Hours of work: Within the standard factories hours will be variable between 32-48 hours per week as needed. Standard hours of work will be Monday – Friday 05:00am – 14:00pm or 06:00am – 15:00pm, however flexibility to work overtime and/or Saturdays as necessary is essential. Job responsibilities: To comply with the SHEQ Safety, Health, Environment and Quality management system To participate in all aspects of the Operational Excellence approach. To operate as part of the team to achieve the adherence to the daily production plan e.g., moulds prepared, all planned products produced, tasks being carried out efficiently etc. To participate in any training as agreed per the plan. Respiratory Physiologist, Senior There are currently two permanent whole-time posts available in the Pulmonary and Sleep Diagnostics Department in Naas General Hospital. A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Naas General Hospital from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled. The main purpose of this role is to provide services for the integrated chronic disease programmes. This model of care supports people to live well within the community, with ready and equitable access to General Practitioner (GP) review, diagnostics, HSCP input and specialist opinion, as required. The focus is to provide diagnostics in a timely manner as close to home as possible. The post holder will provide pulmonary and sleep diagnostic services for the ECC Integrated Chronic Disease Management Programme for GP’s and Chronic Disease Ambulatory Care Hub/s and will be situated in Naas General Hospital in the first instance but will be required to provide clinical sessions in ambulatory care hubs. The Pulmonary and Sleep Diagnostics Service is a consultant led service supported by Clinical Nurse Specialists, Respiratory Physiologists and administrative supports. Under the general direction of duly authorised Officers, the Physiologist will undertake the duties appropriate to a Respiratory Physiologist, subject to the supervision of the Senior Respiratory Physiologist. The Physiologist should be familiar with the techniques and range of equipment used in current medical practice for the diagnosis, treatment and care of respiratory patients. The Physiologist may be required to work daytime flexible hours in order to deliver patient oriented service. Requirements in this area include the ability to handle sick patients, with sympathy and understanding, and at the same time encouraging maximum effort from them when carrying out pulmonary function tests. The presentation of test results is also the responsibility of the Physiologist. In addition, the holder of this post will be required to carry out and participate in a wide range of medical procedures. A complete understanding of all such procedures and an ability to make accurate measurements is essential. Eligibility Criteria 1. Statutory Registration, Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc. (a) Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition: (i) Possess the BSc in Clinical Measurement from Dublin Institute of Technology. Or (ii) Possess the BSc in Clinical Measurement from Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin). Or (iii) Possess an equivalent relevant scientific qualification (Level 8) as confirmed by the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement Science (IICMS). Role: Senior Grade Clinical/Counselling Psychologist Location: The successful candidate will have the choice of working in Tullamore, Mullingar or Monasterevin Tenure: Permanent (Part-time, 0.5 WTE) – 35 hours per fortnight This is an exciting new service development within the Muiriosa Foundation. The successful candidate will become a key member of an evolving psychological services team led by the Principal Psychology Manager. We are establishing an interdisciplinary team to provide psychological supports to the Person Centred Wing. The person appointed will work as part of the psychology team and in close collaboration with other clinicians in providing psychological assessment, formulation and a range of interventions to supports to adults with intellectual disabilities and Autistic adults with high support needs. The Muiriosa Foundation promotes a human rights-based approach. Psychologists develop evidence-informed, and values led, interventions collaboratively with the person supported, following comprehensive assessment of each person’s strengths, needs and within the context of their environment. The successful candidate will be required to work flexible hours depending on the needs of the individuals supported and their circles of support.
