Job Title: Instructor – Cleanroom and Manufacturing Operations Capacity: Temporary, Two Year Contract Reporting To: Adult Education Officer (Enterprise Engagement, Communications and Strategy/FET Director) Section: FET HQ Mervue, Galway City Function of Job: To deliver professional training in cleanroom and manufacturing operations, in accordance with the relevant syllabus. Duties/Responsibilities: Conditions of Service Term of Appointment: Temporary Post: This post is a whole-time, pensionable and temporary, two-year contract. A panel may be formed from which future relevant vacancies may be filled. Any such panel formed shall be six months in duration. Remuneration: €46,067 - €72,686 (including two long service increments). Salary is not subject to negotiation. Hours of Work: A 35 hour week is in operation. Hours may be adjusted from time to time under relevant Public Sector Agreements. Annual Leave: The Annual Leave entitlement for this post is 25 days per annum. Pro Rata Teacher Appointments 2024-2025

Pro Rata Teacher Appointments 2024-2025 A person appointed as a Pro-Rata Teacher (PRT) will be offered a contract for a set number of hours each week over the full school year. The contract will commence no later than 1st November 2024 and will run until 31st August 2025. All vacancies are subject to the Director of Redeployment agreeing to the posts being filled, following the completion of the 2023 Redeployment Scheme. All appointments are subject to assessment, confirmation and approval of academic qualifications for the jobs as advertised, confirmation of Teaching Council registration, confirmation of medical fitness to work and final sign off by the Chief Executive City of Dublin ETB. A number of the posts advertised are Specific Purpose, this means that they are there to provide cover for a teacher on officially approved leave e.g. career-break, job-share, secondment or to cover a teacher who has been internally reassigned within City of Dublin ETB.
