The Role: The Health and Safety area is responsible for ensuring & supporting compliance with company, national & European level health, safety, quality & environmental standards for Uisce Éireann. The team provides governance and specialist advice across the business areas and manages the maintenance and assurance of the quality, environment and energy management systems to ensure appropriate H&S compliance with regulatory requirements. The Health and Safety Team support the operational areas of the business to deliver on their health and safety responsibilities. They support the implementation of the safety management systems and roll out tools including processes and procedures to support health and safety compliance. They support the development of a safety culture appropriate to our organisational values which facilitates us to deliver on our Work Safe Home Safe vision and beliefs. The team also provide governance and specialist health and safety advice across assigned business areas and are the visible presence of safety in the regions. The team work with the business and the broader health and safety team to monitor the implementation of safety management systems and investigate and respond appropriately to internal health and safety trends and developments and external requirements such as legislative changes and regulatory requirements and expectations. Reporting to the Health and Safety Technical Lead, the Health and Safety Advisor is responsible for providing comprehensive health and safety advice and support, within the region, to facilitate the systematic identification, evaluation, control and monitoring of risks; to contribute to the development and implementation of Health & Safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with our safety management system, legislation and strategic business objectives. The IT Infrastructure team is responsible for IT/OT infrastructure services to the business across a wide range of functions including maintenance of existing systems and IT/OT infrastructure, release management, configuration management, IT/OT disaster recovery, vendor management, security infrastructure management, IT/OT standards compliance and quality assurance. The team guide resources, facilitate team demand management and capacity planning, and manage the seqUÉncing and operational interdependencies of all IT Operations related initiatives. The infrastructure team also manages the data centres and IT/OT infrastructure for UÉ, including IT availability and IT continuity. Reporting to the Cloud Team Lead, the Cloud Resource Analyst will be responsible for supporting the day to day operational IT Cloud Operations, Infrastructure and Cloud Services supporting Uisce Éireann. Responsibilities will include: Rework products – assembling of mixed cases, resleeving of products and rework of products Managing stock levels for the freezer Stock Rotation-FIFO The successful applicant should have previous experience in a similar role in the food industry, knowledge of food product, storage & rotation and good general education. Then role will involve lifting cases of product and working in a chilled environment. Hours of work are Sunday – Thursday 11.00pm – 7.30am.

Galberts wishes to recruit a highly motivated Production Operative who wishes to enhance their development within an established local business. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a food manufacturing business based in Londonderry/Derry. The successful candidate will be Involved in the various stages of bread, desserts and salad production from receipt, storage, processing and product make up to provide a high service level to the customer.
