This role will be part of the Creative / Brand team and report to Zoë Wedderburn, the Group Creative Director. We’re reinvigorating the Applegreen brand across the USA and Ireland. We seek a creative writer/copywriter/strategist to help us define roadside hospitality for Applegreen—an entirely new space within the convenience retail sector. We no longer want to be seen or known solely as a fuel provider – we’re much more than that. This year, we are developing our first in-house creative team to create print and digital campaigns, enhance our brands, write for websites, and craft social content for various platforms to ensure consistency across all our touchpoints in Ireland and the US. The ideal candidate will have/be: Previous food preparation and production experience is desirable Qualified baker is a distinct advantage Creative and able to embrace new recipes Excellent communication skills Ability to engage with and prioritise customer needs Strong attention to detail, organised and flexible Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
