Airline Flight Academy (AFA) is a venture for outsourced sim & flying services to European Airlines from a brand-new training facility based in Santry, Dublin, Ireland. AFA are recruiting for a Senior SIM Engineer to join their team of Simulator Engineers at this new Flight Simulator Training Facility. The facility will be used to support Pilot Training using the latest Flight Simulators from CAE and MPS. The training centre is made up of 4x CAE Full Flight Simulators and 3x MPS FTD/FNPT’s. Our simulators run over 20 hours per day training 5,500 pilots each year for recurrent and initial training. Our highly skilled SIM Engineering team carry out preventative maintenance and urgent repair of our SIMs. Quick action to resolve issues that affect the training of aircrew using the simulators and training equipment is a priority. This to ensure minimum disruption to our pilot training schedule. The Role Reporting to the Simulator Engineering Manager, the Senior Sim Engineer is a key position in AFA’s Engineering team and will be responsible for ensuring defects are resolved in a timely manner and leading junior engineers. Komfort Kare provides packages of home care to support adults over 65, under 65, children and people with a disability (physical or intellectual) to live independently in their own home. We offer clients a range of behavioural support, domestic assistance, personal care and complex care based upon their assessed needs; 24hrs a day, 7 days a week. We have a dynamic and dedicated team of staff who are focused on delivering safe and high quality care to all our clients. We are currently expanding our services and are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and innovative team member who will undertake a new role within the Management Team as Chief Operations Officer. Chief Operations Officer The Chief Operations Officer will be responsible for the oversight and management of Home Support Services provided by Komfort Kare in CHO7, CHO8 and CHO9. These CHO areas will be reconfigured by the HSE in 2024 into the following two Health Regions. · HSE Dublin and North East: North Dublin, Meath, Louth, Cavan, and Monaghan · HSE Dublin and Midlands: Longford, Westmeath, Offaly, Laois, Kildare, and parts of Dublin South and Wicklow The ChiefOperations Officer will oversee all Komfort Kare Operational Practices and assure the Chief Executive Officer that the delivery of home support services is being provided safety and that the quality of care provided is the highest possible standard.
