[Forklift licence preferred but not essential] [Drivers licence required] DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Receiving & Inspecting Deliveries:  Accept deliveries, verify items against invoices or packing slips, and check for damage or discrepancies. Inventory Management:  Accurately label, store, and track stock using inventory systems. Conduct regular stock takes and report variances. Picking & Packing Orders:  Select items according to pick lists, pack goods securely, and prepare stock for dispatch to all branches. Loading & Unloading:  Safely load and unload goods from trucks or containers using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques. Maintaining Cleanliness:  Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and free of hazards. Dispose of packaging and waste appropriately. Equipment Operation:  Operate warehouse machinery (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) in line with safety standards. Health & Safety Compliance:  Follow all safety procedures and report hazards, accidents, or equipment issues immediately. Documentation & Reporting:  Complete delivery notes, stock movement logs, and any relevant paperwork accurately. Team Collaboration:  Work effectively with warehouse staff, delivery drivers, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
