The successful candidate must be familiar with the techniques and range of equipment used in current medical practice for the diagnosis, treatment and care of cardiac patients and be fully competent in performing all such investigations. Eligibility, Qualifications and / or Experience: 1. Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc. (a) Candidates must at the latest date of application: - (i) Possess the BSc in Clinical Measurement from the Dublin Institute of Technology. OR (ii) Possess the BSc in Clinical Measurement from the Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin). OR (iii) Possess an equivalent relevant scientific qualification (Level 8) as confirmed by the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement Science (IICMS). OR (iv) a) Possess the Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement (MPPM) from the Dublin Institute of Technology. OR b) An equivalent scientific qualification as confirmed by the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement Science awarded in or before 2005 (See Note 1*) . AND (b) Candidates must have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office. Note 1* In exceptional cases, where the IICMS are not in a position to validate pre 2005 qualifications, the Clinical Measurement Physiologists experts on the eligibility / selection board may, at their discretion, deem as eligible: HSE applicants who are currently employed as Clinical Measurement Physiologists, and who were employed in or before 2005, on the presentation of proof of their qualification(s) that was acceptable on the commencement of their employment. 2. Health Candidates for and any person holding the office must be fully competent and capable of undertaking the duties attached to the office and be in a state of health such as would indicate a reasonable prospect of ability to render regular and efficient service. 3. Character Candidates for and any person holding the office must be of good character. Post Specific Requirements: Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience in Cardiac Echoes and experience in pacemaker / ICD / CRT as relevant to the role.

Jigsaw Clinician
POSITION SUMMARY: Jigsaw clinicians offer short-term therapeutic supports to young people aged 12-25 years who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties. This usually involves 1:1 work with the young person and sometimes it can include other family members as well. Our clinicians come from diverse professional backgrounds encompassing qualifications in social work, occupational therapy, mental health nursing, clinical/counselling/educational psychology, and psychotherapy, and they work as part of transdisciplinary teams based at one of our 15 services across the country. All of our clinicians share the same scope of practice to support the goals of our young people in a collaborative, respectful, and evidence-informed manner while drawing on their own unique training, experience, and skills. Additionally, clinicians are involved in health promotion, youth engagement, service development, and advocacy. Our clinicians benefit from frequent and supportive clinical supervision alongside a comprehensive programme of continuing professional development. Please note: This is a full-time, specific purpose (12-month) position based in our Laois/Offaly service. This is a front facing role with daily interactions with Young People and members of the public. Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience in nursing / midwifery management as relevant to the role.
