Candidates must have the ability to exercise good judgement, discretion and confidentiality, to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms and co-operate in a team environment with a person-centred philosophy. IT skills are an essential requirement of the post. Working Hours: A 39-hour working week based on a Monday – Friday 5-day duty roster. Appointee will be required to work early mornings, late evenings, and occasional split shifts, however sleep-ins and weekend duty commitment is not required for this post. On Call commitment is a requirement of this post. Annual Leave: 23 days per annum. Location: Caislean Services operates a range of services including day, residential, respite, training, education, employment opportunities, Individualised services, and leisure activities which are geographically dispersed though the West Sector Adult Services. Locum Social Care Worker roles are also available. Location: Strokestown Adult Services (Strokestown, Tulsk, Elphin and Ballinagare Areas). Staff allocation could be either within residential/respite/day settings or in community services or in an individual’s own home.
