This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced health or social care professional to contribute to the strategic development, quality improvement and continued evolution of SA4, while ensuring that the people remain central of service delivery. The post holder will be accountable for service performance, governance, financial oversight and workforce management, ensuring that services are delivered in line with HIQA standards, relevant legislation, HSE requirements and organisational policies. The role operates as a Person Participating in Management (PPIM) under the Health Act 2007 Regulations and will support the implementation of relevant national policy and standards. While accountable for a defined service cluster, the Service Manager will be an active member of the wider management structures, contributing to collective leadership, strategic planning and the coordinated delivery of integrated services across the organisation. Flexibility to work across Service Directorates may be required in response to organisational need. POSITION SUMMARY: The Service Manager will be primarily responsible for the operational management of the Jigsaw service. Manage Youth Mental Health Service in the Community • Ensuring Jigsaw is delivered in compliance with service delivery policies and procedures. • Ensuring and overseeing efficient processing of referrals and scheduling of appointments for young people. • Monitoring inward and outwards referral pathways and working with the Clinical Manager to develop strategies to promote service integration. • Representing and promoting Jigsaw in community fora. • Developing local fundraising strategies and ensuring Jigsaw is compliant with the Jigsaw fundraising policy. • Acting as Complaints Officer within the local service • Regularly reviewing and drawing learning from feedback from young people and parents/carers who have engaged with the service.
