This is a hybrid working role with the office days based in Woodlock House, Portlaw, Co. Waterford. This is Fixed Term Contract role of 1 year duration, with flexibility on hours therefore both full-time and part-time applicants would be considered. Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to: • Good knowledge of full cycle accounting – General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, & Sales Reconciliation; • Play a key role in the monthly preparation of the management accounts; • Work as part of a cohesive team of finance professionals and support the achievement of the team's goals while managing individual responsibilities; • Assist with all year end duties including closing of accounts and preparation of audit with the wider finance teams. • Preparation and submission of journals to accounting system; • Month end close activities, including General Ledger reconciliation • Prepare sales reconciliations for various entities and post relevant journals to accounting system; • Assist with duties in relation to tax compliance & vat returns; • Other office admin duties as required. Requirements & Competencies: • Accounting Technician/Finance third level qualification or relevant accounts experience; • Experience using accountancy packages, preferably NetSuite; • Proficiency in data entry and the use of Microsoft word and excel; • Excellent oral and written communication skills; • Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team supporting others; • Strong attention to detail with ability to prioritize and organize workflow; • Treats confidential information in a trustworthy manner; • Ability to consistently follow outlined procedures, as well as develop new and improved processes; • A thorough, professional approach to work with a positive outlook. • Ability to deal with change well.

Garage Manager
Munster Truck & Trailer Services is the onsite Garage of Dungarvan Transport Ltd. The primary role of the Garage is to maintain, repair & service the company fleet of trucks and trailers. There are 220 vehicles in the fleet and there are a minimum of 7 vehicles for test every week. The garage also performs repairs and maintenance for a number of 3rd party Customers. We currently have a vacancy for a Garage Manager. This is a challenging role and will suit a person who has an ability to multi task and manage a busy workshop. The key requirements of the job will be; Day to day scheduling of work in garage Liaise with transport planning to manage the fleet repairs & maintenance Manage a team of 12 employees CVRT scheduling & planning Job card monitoring and tracking. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and exceptionally organized. Previous experience in the Motor, Commercial Vehicle or Transport Industry is required. A background in business management will also be an advantage.

Dungarvan Transport is a leading haulage and logistics provider in Ireland. We are currently seeking a highly organized person to join our office team as a Transport Planner. Our fleet consists of over 70 trucks with customers including Pharma, Dairy, Bulk liquids, and Containers imports/exports. As a Transport Planner, you will lead the day-to-day coordination of a section of our haulage fleet. You will be responsible for balancing driver schedules, and ensuring maximum fleet utilization. This is a dynamic role that requires a calm head under pressure, and excellent communication skills. We are a 5 day a week operation working in the office and one in every 6 weekend working from home. Responsibilities: Driver Scheduling: Assign daily workloads, collections, and deliveries to drivers while monitoring live progress aligned to daily customer requirements. Compliance: Oversee driver tachograph hours, routes working time directives Maintenance Coordination: Liaise with the garage to schedule routine servicing, CVRTS, and repairs with minimal disruption to the haulage business. Customer Excellence: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing proactive delivery updates and resolving issues swiftly. System Management: Maintain accurate real-time data within our Transport Management System (TMS).
