They develop and implement a plan of care to support the older person living in the community with the aim to identify and address health issues, promote independence, and support the older adult to live well in their community. As the CNUs are under the direction of the Directors of Nursing, the Senior Occupational Therapist will be working closely with the Directors of Nursing, Nurse Manager, Nursing & Care Staff in the CNU’s when required They will work closely with the other HSCP Services in the CNU’s in particular with Physiotherapy and GP services. Purpose of the Post The provision of a quality evidenced based Occupational Therapy service in line with standards of Occupational Therapy practice. To provide quality, client-centred assessment and treatment to identified client groups at designated centres as directed by the Occupational Therapy Manager. The Senior Occupational Therapist will be responsible for the provision of a high quality Occupational Therapy service and will carry out clinical and educational duties as required. This role is responsible for ensuring customers have an excellent experience from the moment they enter our clinic, taking blood samples from both private and corporate clients. This is a varied role that may also include the following responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive client appointments, including blood and urine sample collection, personal health measurements, and data entry into our Patient Information Systems (PIS). • Demonstrate sensitive communication to ensure client understanding and consent. • Maintain accurate records in PIS, uploading all relevant documentation. • Represent the company professionally at offsite events and appointments. • Engage in upselling and cross-selling at our private health clinic. • Proactively drive sales and exceed targets. • Complete company forms, specimen labelling, and laboratory test order forms accurately. • Demonstrate high IT literacy in order to manager various software systems and daily tasks.
